the native american hunted buffalo to live if you see in this movie that idiots treated them like sport such stupidity i thought id ive have my say on this since i saw this movie when it first come out had to buy the soundtrack bloody beautiful love to all keep this world bewdiful
@ Balenza - more like the Euros destroyed the Native American way of life, don't forget who "settled" this continent; Manifest Destiny occurred through the first & second generations of those initial Euro settlers...
This is one of the most memorable soundtracks of all time. The French Horns, Low Cellos and the violins are perfectly harmonious together. Also, I am in absolute awe with the American Buffalo. Ahhhh... how majestic! Thanks for posting!
@michaelbrigante Who is "us"? I never killed an animal just for his hide, like many whites AND Natives did. I never stole anyone's land. How can you assume that I'm disrespectful of the land? Do you know me?
We're killing our beautiful planet, our land...these great civilisation had an incredible respect for their land for everything...they've never killed for enjoyment...never!
@michaelbrigante Oh bullshit. You think they were perfect? Of course Native Americans wasted, were greedy, etc. You know that when buffalo tongues and hides became popular, they wiped out herds just like the evil white men, right? Just for their tongues. And do you think they used every buffalo they drove off a cliff? Not a chance. They were men and women, imperfect, just like us. You're hippy BS is going to make me barf.
@HunterCook15 EeeeeeeWwwww! Who are you? I feel so very sorry for you! Not your fault,...none of us are perfect. Please, keep your evil thoughts to yourself. This movie has effected us all in many different ways. Love what it did for you,...and respect what it did for us/others.
@TheBaconbutt1 Evil thoughts... you mean the truth. You talk like you are superior to me because you choose to bathe in your own blissful ignorance. Sensible people know that Truth and Hollywood aren't even close.
Whenever I watch the movie and see all the buffalo roaming hearing this song with it brings tears to my eyes because of how many buffalo are now dead.
Agree with ALL of those below who say it moves them to tears. It still does to me too. Each and every time I hear it. The French horns are wonderful. Barry is a master.
I searched forever for this song, to find that it makes me feel exactly as I did when I first viewed this scene of the film. The majesty and beauty can move you to tears.
