  • Eu também trabalho com uma dessa !!!!

    hushasuhasuhaush

  • how u take out the build up in the bucket?

  • @dodgerfan2004

usually by jacking with the bucket controls by making it shake thats how i did it

  • hace los ciclos lentos

  • yal have a 5110b

  • man that thing can move dirt in a hurry!!

  • how much bigger is the cat 5110 then the 385 you use? Nice videos btw

  • About 20 tons =p

    Sort of like going from a 365 to a 385, except it's 385 to 5110.

  • thanks for the info. Do you know any websites that have the specs to all these machines?

  • No but search ebay for "cat performance handbook". This is a huge book that has every detail you ever wanted to know about every machine cat makes. As far as I know Cat is not making 5110s anymore so you will have to find an early (lower volume number) edition. Otherwise they only go up to 385.

  • @bigpete405 Yeah just go to cat's own website. It's all there.

  • @vantagetes do you guys have weight limits for the loads?

  • @sanitaire800 No onboard scales so use common sense, you can tell when theres too much weight for ground conditions.

  • I have run pretty much everything in 4 years though. Ran a D8 and D6 but not that great at it but i can hold my own a little. Usually in on either the 345B or the 963C Trackloader. But have pretty much ran everything except a Grader and Crane. Moving earth is the best job in the world! Although it does get somewhat boring and repitious day after day..that's why i like to use different equipment for different jobs..nice video!

  • Thank you and you're right it's an 8 yard bucket (well if you want to get specific its a CAT 7.75yd bucket). I use the suction cup dock for a satellite radio and just electrical tape the camera to that. If you check out my other videos you can see it works fairly well!

  • Pretty cool..im 28 and run a 345B with a 6 yard bucket and thought about making a video but not real sure on how to mount it..haha. How many Yard is that bucket on that machine? Looks about 8 hard to tell from the camera. I was lucky i fell into my job 4 years ago with NO experience in running equipment. They gave me the keys to a 40 ton Articulated CAT and said dump here..i had to learn on the fly and they just kept moving me up. Im not great at holding a grade with a dozer though :o( haha

  • Great vid. Theres a kind of zen to doing this type of work. My zen is plowing snow... but I think you know what I mean...lol

  • Another great video.

  • i was only 12 when i first drove a cat like yours

now i drive in my dads yard just messing about on them so im not as good as u yet mate

  • Just gotta keep practising =)

  • im 14 years old and i drove a cat 400 rock truck yester day and a hitachi 450 excevator

  • That is an awesome way to start! You and I are very lucky, we grew up playing video games so we get a head start with the hand eye coodination. Any time you get a chance to play around with a machine or even watch is great.

Give it a couple years and you'll be all set to start operating as a job.

  • I think that is true abou video games and eye coordination

  • wow your amazing...not . theres nothing hard about driving these machines, but its hard to do it well. that what people tend to forget

  • another great video

can you try to get some more they are good as :)

  • awesome

  • this is your best video my friend

  • Haha it's also the most ghetto. Wedged between the knees "camera mount" for the win ;)

  • Ya, getting cab view from a 385 is not seen alot. Please make more videos! Mabey you can duct tape the camera to a hard hat or somthing??

  • I gave my digital camera to my ex, but I'll see about borrowing it back and getting some more videos this week.

  • post more, we are out there.

  • Anything you would like to see? I've been waiting until I was doing something out of the ordinary. We are just finishing up one site so I've got 4 CAT 740 rock trucks at my disposal.

  • Nice video, u dont see too many in cab videos good job

  • I had to get innovative with the camera mount. I held onto the camera with my knees. That's why its sort of shaky! =D

I'm on this unit again so I'll see what I can do about some more videos.
