The Bloop is without a doubt one of the scariest and most interesting things I've come across. In my amateur opinion it is definitely biological (as the general scientific consensus goes) rather than tectonic or rockslide (like Slowdown). It is completely skin crawling to hear. While it may seem laughable, Cthulhu comes straight to mind. Also there are a handful of other less famous ones like Julia and something that escapes me.
