  • cthulhu :D

  • mo fucking zeld-urp!

  • This is fucking Cthulhu.

    NOPE.JPEG

  • @LetsAllBeBestFriends It's nope.avi, for the record. =D

  • Damn nature, you boring.

  • Ph´nglui mglw´nafh Cthulhu R´lyeh wgah´nagl fhtagn

  • mom?

  • parece un sonido de teclado

  • NOPE.

  • Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

  • FHTANG!

  • i asked my good friend who has been in the military 30yrs about this noise and before the video played, and he saw the picture of the noise, he instantly said, "thats a submarine explosion. the first yellow line is the implosion of the submarine and then the explosion is the second." when i played the video he told me it was definitely mechanical, and based on the fact that noise travels faster in water, it may be, according to him, a top secret undersea ballistics base imploding and exploding

  • @decepticon323

    And that's bullshit.

  • @decepticon323 I asked my good friend who's been in the food industry for 30yrs about your friend and he said your friend doesn't exist.

  • @decepticon323 They can tell from the sound profile it isn't man made, so your friend is either a dumbass or imaginary.

  • @decepticon323 Woah! Your 'friend' should be working for NOAA, seeing as he instantly knew what it was and they still can't figure it out.

  • DAMN NATURE YOU SCARY

  • 0:57 and 1:50

  • its just squidward reciting his god damned clarinet..

  • I swear, more funds should be put towards exploring our own planet.

We'd probably already know what made that sound.

  • That. Was. Creepy. Lol personally I'm a major alien buff... So I think it could possibly be the sound made by some extra terrestrial machine. But who knows..

  • @lillybeans21 maybe some alien ship that crashed into the ocean millions of years ago. And ever since it's just been putting off that sound. And we couldn't hear it till now.

  • I really want it to be some creature, and not just iceberg calving.

Besides, guys, we're humans. The most dangerous life form on Earth. Whatever it is, we can destroy it if need be.

  • @3rkid2 As freaked the fuck out as I would be, I hope it's a creature too. It may be frightening, but it's interesting.

  • it's a Cthulhu's fart

  • Mermaids singing...? Sounds almost metallic, like wind chimes or some sort of organ. Maybe a ufo moving around down there, or even underwater city noise? *theories ahoy!*

  • anyone else feel irrationally terrified after hearing this?

  • It's Poseidon attemtping to learn how to play the piano.

  • Oceans. How do they work?

  • yes it's goddamn cthulhu

  • This shit can be heard from over 3,000 miles away. I don't even want to THINK of what type of monster is capable of making that amount of noise. Whatever it is, I can only assume it's some Lovecraftian horror that has no right to exist in ANY universe of mine.

  • @PsychoBurgundy6 It's the Crab People!

  • okay, i have headphones, i hear only idk, like shitty music is there anything i should listen to?

  • @Kismonos03 The part where it gets louder around 1:05

  • bloopmystery.info account suspended ! It's a conspiracy I tell you!

  • @cmburke7 I didn't renew the hosting. I'm poor now :(

  • aliens (humans from the future) live on the ocean floor. Ive been sayin it for years. saucers shaped aircrafts so they can easily come in and out of the water. take darwins evolution, and follow it further into aliens. apes are huge with big bodies small heads, humans smaller bodies bigger heads, aliens smaller bodies even yet, with bigger heads.

  • Fucking Squidward

  • @Steelmeen LOL!

  • I didn't know Chuck Norris would be taking a bath and singing in the ocean.

  • Also, it could be the Monolith.

  • Atomic bomb testing

  • i am the only people who think cthulhu is real?

  • maybe it was a jamming signal sent out by the russians to test some sort of jammer that was used near antarctica

  • predator x for definite

  • I played this with my cat in the room... he was falling asleep, but as soon as he heard the louder part he instantly woke fully up, raised his ears and his eyes opened wide...

  • Cthulu. yerp.

  • Now imagine this so load that it was detected on both sides of the ocean.

  • its ktulu rising from the ocean depths

  • The weird thing is is that alot of these unidentified sounds like bloop, Julia, the murmur, were all detected by the NOAA between 1997 and 1999

  • it has problems with stomach

  • @oiu098oiu098 Maybe it already died because of hunger D:

  • Sounds autotuned.

  • wow! is not the thing that gave birth to Justin Bieber

  • This song has inspired J.J Abrams to make the movie "Cloverfield" ;)

  • If you listen closer, you hear a squeaking sound, like a door. Then it "can" be ice from Antarctica breaking off and rubbing over the other ice. That "can" cause the sound.

  • People actually think this is some mystical creature? Fucking retards. You can find more unidentified sounds courtesy of NOAA, most of them are more interesting than this and one actually fits the profile of a sea creature better than this.

  • @hurpderp123

The wave patterns match those of an organic being. Not only that, but it could be heard at a range of 5000km in various microphones, nothing is that loud.

  • This is fucking scary. If where the scientist who discovered this, I would have pissed myself.

  • sounds like a song from Salad Fingers

  • Cthulhu ROCKS!!!

  • This is the REAL version of Disney's "Under The Sea" :'D

  • Try listen to it with closed eyes, it's becomes REALLY creepy.

  • @N412MC and you are still late, in more recent years they have deemed that false and say its of organic origin, the scientific theory on what is is has changed multiple times due to the fact that they dont know what it is

  • Fuck the ocean. Fuck. The. Ocean.

  • Ктулху фхтагн!

  • Cloverfield is coming

  • You are a little late. ( about 7 years too late) This has been studied by NOAA and It has been determined that these sounds come from the ocean floor due to seismic activity.

  • @N412MC The sound was picked up by several microphones over 3000 miles apart. If it was a seismic shift large enough to produce that kind of sound, then where were the Tsunamis that should have followed?

    Face it, its Cthulhu.

  • Job. Leviathan.

  • Cloverfield.

    Callen it now.

  • Is this unsettling to anyone else?

  • I actually don't know if I want to know what that sound made...

  • For sure one of the Old Ones.

  • cloverfield monster,

  • What's the sound like because i muted it! LOL!

  • C̶̡̦̟̮̞̬̪̭͚̳͌͂̎̂̓͝T̲̲͍̞̗̫̬̙͇ͯ̊̋̍Ḩ̘̗͖̯͓͓̱̋ͨͦͬ̒Ǔ͈̞͖̮̘̙̘͈͌̽̒Ḻ̘̱ͫ̅ͪ͑ͤ̽͜͠H̘͙ͩͬ͟Ű̸̿̋̿͏̶̰̘̬

  • @Lunarvx22 NO YOU GYPSY

  • Maybe its Cthulu, very hungry ._.

  • @StoneColdChile

    Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!!!

  • Is this in it's natural frequency? The file i found on NOAA's site was sped up 16 times, and didnt sound scary at all... lol.

    This one is freaky!!

  • @Wolfantom I think that this is the original O:

  • say what you want but i think that this is some kind of creature that is suppose to be prehistoric

  • When I heard about this stuff for the first time, it was that sound was made 16 times slower than it was in reality so people could hear it. I opened file with audio redactor and made it 16 times faster. Guess what, there were just regular sounding bubbles.

  • @29Hazard You mean the sound is made 16x faster so people can hear it. Basically you made it 256x faster.

  • @BernardMitochondrie

Maybe. And maybe somebody took a record of bubble sound and made it 16 times slower just to troll people of Internet.

  • @29Hazard And it just ends up on the NOAA website, because REAL TROLLS use .gov domains to prank, nowadays. And then it ends up on CNN, because yunno, those guys just don't ever check their sources... Actually they don't always, my argument sucks... Well, it's still on .gov, which basically means "this thing is true or a national conspiracy"...

  • @BernardMitochondrie

It doesn't really matter who's right here. Really important thing is that the Great Cthulhu is still sleeping in R'lyeh. Cuz if he was awake we'd all be a bloody confiture.

    So Cthulhu fhtagn!

  • @29Hazard Which is why we have to promote oceanology to uncover the fucker and blow a fucking nuke on the wanker!

    Oceanology rules!

  • @BernardMitochondrie

Elder Gods will eat your soul with mayonnaise and mustard.

  • Meh. I just typed bloop out of bordam.

  • This just makes me even more scared of the deep ocean.

  • Chtulu is back and is gonna come to kill us !

  • it sounds like chewbacca going scuba diving

  • thumbs up if you typed in "bloop" in the search

  • Is their anychance this could have been somsort of feedback anomaly?

  • @Workwinride4life Nah, it's been picked up by dozens of mics... It's not the only one though... There's Julia, Train, Upsweep, Whistle, Slowdown, and probably a few others I dunno about.

  • is chuck norris hugging cthulhu beacause is going to wake up to kill all jajajajajajaja

  • Guys , it makes me remember the melody which Lovecraft describes in "Call of Cthulhu" So weird .

  • At 1:00, that's just Chuck Norris blowing bubbles in the ocean.

  • ktulu is calling to bieber!!!!!!!!

  • CTHULHU LIVES!!!!

  • sounds like some vague experimental album

  • CTHULHU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And scientist think this animal would be 7 times bigger, than THE BIGGEST animal that we know: blue whale... God I hope I could see it someday :D

  • @Pirogo3th And where the hell is it :C you shouldn't be able to miss something 7 times bigger than a blue whale :'D that's just freaky!

  • @issabissabel The giant squid is just as big a a blue whale, but noone has ever seen one alive.

  • ES UN PEDO DE BALLENA XD

  • The Bloop is without a doubt one of the scariest and most interesting things I've come across. In my amateur opinion it is definitely biological (as the general scientific consensus goes) rather than tectonic or rockslide (like Slowdown). It is completely skin crawling to hear. While it may seem laughable, Cthulhu comes straight to mind. Also there are a handful of other less famous ones like Julia and something that escapes me.

  • Leviatán Job 41:1 Génesis 1:21

  • @cecyteens And God created the Bloop, and He saw that it would be totally awesome for scaring the shit out of everyone.

  • At 1:00 when it got louder I was really scared... What could make that noise?

  • Cthulhu.

  • Serioiusly, they say the patterns are like an animal...EXCEPT there is no animal so big to make the sounds. That is freaking scary! And to think it was heard at two different places...3,000 miles apart. WTF is it!?

  • Battening upon huge sea-worms in his sleep,

    Until the latter fire shall heat the deep;

Then once by man and angels to be seen,

In roaring he shall rise and on the surface die

  • Below the thunders of the upper deep Far, far beneath in the abysmal sea His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee About his shadowy sides: above him swell Huge sponges of millennial growth and height And far away into the sickly light From many a wondrous grot and secret cell Unnumbered and enormous polypi Winnow with giant arms the slumbering green There hath he lain for ages and will lie
  • Jk, it's not Cthulhu. It's the Loch Ness Monster.

  • ITS JORMUNGANDR!!!!

  • YA CTHULHU, YA RYLEH!

  • That is scary and to me sounds a bit like a violin.

  • Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!

  • He comes...

  • @Dredgon in or out?

  • IA IA! CTHULHU FHTAGN!

  • Atlantis.

  • I've always thought... What if its the earth's plates shifting? And it just sounds like this?.... NAH its fucking Cthulu!!!

  • All hail the mighty Cthulhu!!!!

  • it just sounds like a retard on a keyboard

  • is doesn't sound like a bloop to me.

  • @ibanguglychicks when the NOAA first heard released it they sped it up to where it sounds like say... a rock dropping in water.. hence why it's called the bloop

  • Cthulhu sounds pissed.

  • probably a Plesiosaur? sounds weird...

  • damnti thats creepy. In water sound travels long distances, but a sound that can be heard for 5000km? Christ. And note that this version has been speeded up for many many times. The sound must have been like a very low bass, resonating from walls. Very loud and very long...

  • Wat, what the hell is Cthulu.

  • Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

  • Cthulhu fhtagn.

  • LUGIA ಠ_ಠ

  • New Rebecca Black song

  • ITS A POKEMON

  • HIDEOUS PIPING FOR AZAG-THOTH, THE BLIND IDIOT GOD AT THE CENTER OF ULTIMATE CHAOS!

  • Damn that really strange

  • Is this on loop, or was this really how long it went for?

  • SCARRRRRRRRRRY

  • ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

  • @ceonotaph lol

  • GODZIILLLLLAAAAAAA!

  • Let me remind you They also said in wikipedia that This sound had to come from alive creature and the sound came from 3000 miles away so the creature what made that sound had to be bigger than any living creature in the world example bigger than the blue whale.

  • @M00NBL1NK A Blue whale 100 times bigger! Cthulhu!

  • 1:51 - Chewbacca!
