@auxbel It's french, from Anne Rice's Vampires' Chronicles (the theater Lestat buy to Armand and his "family").

You pronounce it like that:

Té - a - tre (don't pronounce the "e") dé - Vamp - i (like english "e") - re (don't pronounce the "e").

In french, we do not pronounce "s" at the end of words.
