@HelloMsKeety I would recommend that you moisturize your ends daily with the Hydratherma Naturals daily moisturizing growth lotion and seal in the moisture with the hair growth oil. You can do this daily or twice a day until your hair reaches its optimal moisture level. Once it does your hair will be very moisturized and super soft. thx!
hello, for some reasons I am having problems with my ends. No matter what I do, my ends are always dry and need trimming. I dont straighten my hair or wear it. I wear wigs all the time and my ends are still terrible, what do you recommend I do??
Did an aspect of the challenge include keeping each style in for a minimum amount of time? Eg. would you restyle your bun each day? I'm wondering if my failure to retain meaningful length despite protective styling is because I "restyle" the protective style each day. Thanks!
@deefraze Hi! You can restyle the style each day but keep in mind that the less you manipulate, the better. If you do restyle daily be sure to not comb. Just fingercomb daily when styling the hair.thx
You know... I have been bouncing around from product to product. I really plan to purchase Your entire system. I have wanted to do so for about two years now. You have very beautiful hair. I love your videos also. Congratulations though on your challenge results! :)
I have enjoyed this video showing a glimpse of the protective styles in the 20 week challenge. Congratulations on the growth! You hair is AMAZING!!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a Blessed New Year! :)
Congratulatuons on your growth!!! I didnt participate however, I enjoyed your tutorials/hairstyles!! HOPEfully if next year you do this again I would LOVE to participate! :D
I had fun with the challenge also! Sad to say I didn't get much more length. I think that is something internal with me :( Happy to say that I did retain the length that I've grown so far. I am happy with that! I did get lazy with the moisturizing and conditioning later in the challenge but I MADE IT.
I really enjoyed this challenge. I work long hours and it was great not having to do my hair daily. You retained so much length. I'm happy to say that I have retained 2 - 2 1/2 inches. I am so excited! I will continue on a personal challenge to see how many inches I can gain in 2012. Best wishes for 2012!
your hair has grown out so much these last few years......time go by sooo fast....im so glad i went natural my 1st year is the feb 2012....all i do is oil and moisturize and massage my scalp...that's all...i always air dry...no heat!!!
Hey Salemah! Wow! you did retain some great length during the challenge, I actually started out with you and I now have 12 inches in the front and 11 inches on the sides and 13 inches in the back. Living here in Michigan, my number one 'go to' style has been wigs, wigs, wigs, cuz it gets bone chilling cold here girl. Just thought I'd stop by and say congrats on retaining and enduring going without the beautiful 'big hair' styles you normally rock, girl I know, I love my wash n go's lol
what do you recommend for dry ends. I know I need them trimmed, but It seem that I can never maintain healthy hair.
