  • is that roy vogue on bass?

  • I took lessons from this guy at his house in 1993 and at the time, I was sorta a smart butt teen that was more worried about playing guitar good so I could pick up chicks... He was trying to tell me about the rhythms of the earth. I loved the lessons that he taught me and the paradigm shift he gave me while looking at music. He is more misunderstood than properly judged.

  • what a goddamn racket.get off the stage.

  • ShaZamm! Geez...I must have just landed on the planet because I simply do not recall who this guy is. Nevertheless, whomever he is, he is like a guitar god from an alternate universe...Amazing and complex and fast!

I'm generally not into this sort of music but one cannot turn away from masters with brilliant ability.Impressive style and rendition and, well, the guy is awesome.

  • this guy is unreal

  • lol.

  • Unbelievable!!! Thanks Stan for sharing the knowledge and music.

  • Let's see some of your vids ;) - you must be awesome...

  • Oh, no - I suck, I'm sure....but I'm not playing exercises at 4,000 mph with the most horrendous tone in recorded history and THINKING I'm awesome. I'd rather suck.

  • Bonehead 75 (your I.Q. no doubt), if you had any knowledge of guitar whatsoever, you would see the level of talent Stan has. You don't need to like it, but if you had 1/23,000,000th of this talent you would still be good. People like you are cyber-sissies.

  • Well, he's no Kev Brock...you gotta admit.

  • I worked at stan's house in nashville painting his house and doing some drywall with Randy jordan construction, when we finished the job we went to see stan play at a club, I think it was in hendersonville and he blew me away he is amazing, actually Randy was taking lessons from Stan and I went to one class, I like his method of teaching, some day I would love to take classes from him cause I want to move back to nashville.
