I hope my note finds you in a tme of laughter and prosperity, I am working on a show called "the love. project," and in honor of Halloween, the theme is what haunts you? Care to share? Thanks, Veronica Haunani Fitzhugh
Amazing. Their big initial hit (Superman Song) became my least-favourite on their debut album. Every other song is so uniquely different, and catchy. They're my #2 band after Spirit of the West (at least, SOTW's first four albums....after that I lost interest in the sound direction they took, though others joined in). Love CTD's album....time to download it again. :)

Ho Hum.. just another band with the best male voice in the universe, a hot chick rockin' the 'cordeen and oh yeah... a mandolin. I wonder what else is on.
I got to see them on their tour for "A Womr's Life" at the Warfield in San Francisco - one of the best shows I have ever been to. Brad Roberts is one of the most clever songwriters out there. Love these guys!!
One of the most underrated Canadian bands. funny that they're famous for mmm when they have so many songs that are excellent on a host of levels. So much talent here but the industry prefers britney spears I guess. Sad.
They haven't broken up. Well depends on what you define as broken up. Brad and Ellen have been working on an album that is finished and unmixed and due for release titled 'Toys', under the bands name. seemingly the other members had family committments and were unable to commute to NYC for the sessions, this is all on wiki.
They're still around, Somewhat. They don't tour anymore but two of the members (Brad Roberts and Ellen Reid) Are planning to release a new album under the Crash Test Dummies name. It is only going to be available through downloads though.
MY God, this brings back memories of the loved obe who showed me this great music for the first time, saying 'Just buy it, I will pay for it if you don't like it!' We were best friends and I DID like it. This became the soundtrack of that time...sharing a bedroom, hanging out, listening to the dummies and I was 13 years old...a magic time...I know what loving a brother is like because of cousin Gabe. I love you, Gabe, wherever you are.....
GOD!!! make 90's come back!!! :'( I miss good music!

@Frenious well then somebody slipped your album case with the cover of a book
GnrlTuna 6 months ago
@GnrlTuna
They used the same artwork from "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'" for their album cover obviously. It's still their album cover.
Quit being dumb.

Cucaracha and Indy. You both got it exactly right. Too bad their albums after "God Shuffled his Feet" lacked in so many ways.

Genius Band. A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE missing 90s, when music was not absolutely a market bitch

The video captures the early days of the band practicing at the old Blue Note Cafe on Main St. in Winnipeg. Their only video with any heart.
