@Vegas3studios If you're a student you can get it for free. Just go to the Autodesk website and sign up with your college/university name etc. You can get full versions of tons of autodesk software like 3DS Max and Maya. It's probably the best money saver I've found since being a student :p

@MegaBrosy Okay first off I figured out my problem i have learned tons and have spends 100's of hours on 3ds max. I will post a video of the project im working on later.

This is for every one who wants 3ds max and that is a student: Go to Google and type in AutoDesk Student and go students.autodesk(DOT)com, then just register you need a student id and maby other information.

OTHER WAY: Just go to Piratebay(DOT)org and search 3ds max 2010 NOTE: YOU CAN GET A VIRUS AND ITS ILLEGAL

If I'm not completely wrong, they use real human motions, and apply them to the biped.

What do you mean - real time? - If you mean how do animators make a more realistic movement - they use mo-cap ( motion capture - where they attach points to a real body - film the real person moving - then put the points into the program they are using to create the animation ) - hope this helps - if not - look up motion capture

not sure I get your point. but usually your software comes with animation tools like used in the video but it takes a long time to actually complete a fluid animation so they use MOTION CAPTURE which has accuracy and saves A LOT OF TIME

Although the Biped is great for giving bones for your character, the bones aren't put together in a way where you only need to move 1 part and the entire body moves in a correct manner.

If you must do a quick bone-rig, use the Biped, otherwise, create your own bones and set it up manually, it'll work much better and to your liking if you do so.

I have a question. I made a character through Zbrush. and wen i import that character in 3ds max and try to make an animation. The character does not move its limbs like the biped. like wen i try to rotate or move the arm it gets completey seperated from the body and looks like a rubberband but it connected to the body. so is there a way to make it so it can rotate and move like the biped? without destroying the arm becuase after i rotate it i have to make it so it fits with the body again.

HmM, this tutorial is pretty lame tbh. No offence but you shouldn't make tuts and give ppl homework when the stuff in the vid is silly. Your using wayy to many frames, you don't explain IK and FK and keys - teaching autokey is a nono.. Sorry but its juts my opinion.

Go to the render menu and select the range wanted ... for example, frame 1-50. Then scroll down to and click on the save file area .. choose a format (for example: AVI) ... choose a destination ... then render.
