It is not animal abuse, why would it be cruel to walk a guinea pig, but not a dog, why are guinea pigs so important that they don't deserve a leash but dogs do. Lolz its not cruel, its a chance for the animal to get out and explore, like they did in the wild

You did drag it a bit.. My guinea pigs refused to move anywhere except towards me for protection when i put the leash on :P then one of em' broke it with her foot! >.< I need to try a ferret leash.

@suggafree123 yeah, not all the time but when they are being walked in public so they don't possibly attack people. Guinea Pigs,however,can be put on leashes and it won't kill them,nor is it inhumane or mean.

Ok, let me make something painfully clear to all the people that are criticizing the use of a leash. I never really realized the huge debate in this... The pigs were put on a leash so that they didn't get away,in our house. As you can also see the Guinea Pig is not being swung around or tortured.

Oh yeah, I put up a video of a ferret on a treadmill,he had a blast on it and didn't get killed or maimed in any way.

the wheel and ball is worse than a leash. there backs do not curve therfore they will most likely break it on there than a leash. just make sure the leash has arm holes in stead if just 2 loops for the front and back leg! im gonna get a leash tommorow.

OMG ppl its legal to sell the leashes so it's NOT animal cruelty.. its actually SAFER to put a guinea pig on a leash so its eaiser to reach to them if thier about to bite something they shouldnt bite or about to go into a dangerous corner or something

its not cruel actually i have a guinea pig i tried to get mine in a leash but she didnt like it only if they stay in the leash like this one did they are comfortable with it if they squirm around and try to get out they dont like it
