Carrie is the probably the only performer that you can't tell the difference between the studio and her live. And I don't mean lyp-sync either. That's how good she is. A lot of performers you can tell the difference, she is one you can tell the difference, which is good.

that "reason" is quite IRRELEVANT and has no ground pertaining to anything whatsoever. In both reba and faith has won it 4 times and well deserving too but carrie has all the qualifications AND MORE! so what other LAME excuse will others try to use? Carrie has the most controlled voice out of all and has done more for country music in the time of eligibility period then ANY of the nominees. how can anyone try and justify turning back on carrie when she's the face of country music? She has been SNUBBED TWICE @ the CMA Awards. First was to Taylor, and now to Miranda. Both of them has nothing on Carrie!!! Picked Miranda's BEST DAy against Carrie's WORSE DAY, Carrie still win Miranda by miles, both vocally and presentation wise. CMA is total bullsh!t. Miranda is better than Taylor, BUT no where near Ms. Carrie Underwood!

Taylor is hugely popular & may have outsold (I dont follow album sales) Carrie? Miranda with her engagement & chart toppping songs, was hugely popular. Granted, Miranda and Taylor both have little vocal talent, but it is still more about popularity. If it were based upon talent, the same singer would win every category. Basing it on popularity allows for variance.
Loved it. That "Before He Cheats" performance is my favorite. Nicely done.

What show was Carrie on TV (ABC) singing Mama's Song? I don't remember catching whatever it was where she sang that.
I don't remember seeing Temporary Home on TV (CBS) like that either.
