There are still going to be problems and therest low birthrate/aging population thing will be a big problem in itself, but humans aren't as doomed as people like to think, at least from a population and resource standpoint.

@EarthNacionalist. Yeah the "population bomb" is bogus. The world was supposed to have run out of resources and fallen apart by the 1980s due to overpopulation. In actuality population growth rate is trending down. American birthrates are just enough to maintain a static population. Any growth is mostly due to immigration. Europe, Russia, China and Japan all have abysmal birth rates and are losing native population by as much as 30-40% per generation in some places.

@imborgoss Have you ever tried actually shooting an arrow? It takes a lot of training to learn to use a bow, and great skill and strength to become deadly with it. That is why crossbows were developed - because longbow marksmen took so long to train.

So even though I prefer sword, I count bow among honourable weapons. At the end of the day, you can try deflecting that arrow with your sword, Witcher-style ;)
