im glad yall never seen a socket shatter.. i have... a buddy of mine had one shatter in his face... lost an eye cause of it.. and only 5 minutes before i was bothering him about how he should only use impact sockets on a impact gun or breaker bar...

Agreed never seen a socket shatter just expand or at worst crack. Dewalt is no competition. If you use it and rely on it everyday....sorry but there is nothing better than snap on. My matco Mac or any other brand tool I own has never held up compared to my snap on. I replaced my Mac 19.2v 1/2 '' for the snap on and it's a nightand day difference

Looks of cheep contruction, I went to snap on for my tools, But I went to mac to get my Dewalt :D, Dewalt has all ways been the best.

Wow, Do you work for Dewalt? Have you ever used the two impact wrenches side by side? No offense intended. I enjoy my other 18 volt dewalt tools. However, the Snap on is SO MUCH BIGGER AND

BETTER than the dewalt cordless impact.

Sure, the dewalt is satisfactory for removing lugs, etc. But, it doesn't hold a candle to the power of the snap-on. Cheaply built? HAH! Its the best built tool i've ever owned.

What you are seeing in the vid is a rubbery cover to protect the outer shell of the tool.

I have never seen a socket shatter. Mostly they crack, expand and no longer fit the nut or bolt and just spin.

I LIKE CORDLESS, BUT IN THIS CASE I PREFER A CORD , FEEL THE POWER ALWAYS FLOWING......
