Detroit Public Schools is a sad, sad case. I believe that out of county students have the right to be bussed to other, better schools. I don't go there, but there is room for improvement on their part.

In fact, you are less likely to get a hand out if you are educated. As for the teachers, I went to EMU and got my degree in Education/History/Politics. Detroit was once a thriving and beautiful city. This is what government does with their handouts and social programs. Steven Crowder did a great piece on Detroit.
