Arts on the Move: Gentrification Pushing Groups to Ridgewood

There is nothing wrong with spreading your wings and moving out and about. you dont need to bunch yourselves into one neighborhood. Thats why they invented cars, buses, trains, and legs. So that you dont stay in one place. You can actually see friends in a different neighborhood... imagine that. There not on top of you. I just hate the word gentrification. And gentrification does not bring diversity. In all those artsy places there seemed to be a dominating group... hmmm i wonder?

Not trying to hate. But why does every neighborhood need to be gentrified??? I love my neighborhood the way it is and im tired of this word ruining the culture of NYC. Ppl getting forced to move out of neighborhoods or getting bought out. Ridgewood was always one of those neighborhoods that stood true to its identity. A neighborhood of immigrants whether they be Hispanic, European, Middle Eastern, Caribbean, its always been this way and i hope it never changes...
