is so insane! yay! kawaii little ich-chan! when i first watched angelic layer, i thought ich-chan was suspicious... then i found out he was just plain mental!!! and that's why i love him! LOLZ.( i kinda support ich-chan x misaki... sorry.) im gonna watch it again.

man icchan is a great guy helping kotaro shukos all through the years and it seemed that they do love each other but there realtionship is leafted open to the viewers that is what it looked like i liked the idea in the sence that its leaft to the viewers but its also realtic just beca u love each other doesnt mean u fall 4 each other, yes they could date go out what eva in the futher but nothing is set i would like to have seen a more conclusive end to there realtionship great couple

But Icchan is Chitose hibiya's husband and the guy who created the Chobits in the Chobits series to be children for chitose cuz she couldn't have children...if he is in love with this chick it doesn't make sense

Icchan is in love with Shuko, Misaki's mother, and she is the driving force behind him creating the Angelic Layer game, so that he can create a way for Shugo to walk again using the same technology. Angelic Layer is the predecessor (time line wise) to Chobits. Inbetween the two series, Icchan managed to develop the Persacoms out of similar technology from the Angelic Layer development.

He never loved Shuko in the manga they only put that in the anime don't say things like this anless you have read the manga because in the manga he isn't in love with anyone but he marries Chitose in chobits so he obviously loved her.

@pierepresentative - That's all well and good, but he did love her in the anime. 1) just because something doesn't happen in the manga does not mean that the creators didn't want it to happen. 2) I do not appreciate being told that anything that happens in the anime should be written off. I have a great deal of respect for both the manga and the anime and feel that they are both excellent in their own right.
