I am Scottish. As a child in the UK we are taught about the political processes in the USA. Since then I have always had a particular interest in these matters. @indeed1108 Maybe, but if Gingrich can get the Open Fuel Standard Act and the space prize program enacted, I don't think he could screw up the middle class as bad as will happen otherwise if the status quo is continued. And in fact, these ideas will probably help bring America to the forefront of the world again and castrate the Middle East from controlling our fate. Obama is too interested in micro-managing the economy with subsidies and tax-incentives. He doesn't think big enough.

If Ron Paul isn't elected, I'm moving to Switzerland. They have one of the best economies along with being a neutral country. The US will go down to shit, it's just a matter of time. @theguyrollin I doubt you'll get citizenship or anything. Maybe a long visit visa? It is interesting that they have bomb shelters and emergency provisions for every citizen there. In America we have preparations for major members of the government (city, state, and federal) and codes on road signs now so that the rest of us can know which direction to walk if there's CBRN in the wind patterns based on the Emergency Broadcast System. @theguyrollin Newt's the only one who supports the Open Fuel Standard Act and he was involved with Robert Zubrin in the idea for a gov-sponsored prize program for rapid manned space exploration. These are ambitious ideas that would make a big difference. Repealing Obamacare and Roe v. Wade will not help anything in the long run. While all the GOP candidates want those too, Gringrich is the only candidate (including if you add Obama) that has good plans regarding OPEC and space.
