I think they work with any GSM contract. Check to make sure the auction does not say "as is" or "for parts." It could be that is a starting bid and that it is just a good deal but I know some people sell broken phones so people can reuse the parts. Besides that, I cannot help you much. I am waiting for my phone to come in the mail.

Just got the new CECT P168+ off of ebay. It's pretty damn sweet for 150 bones with a grandfathered Unplan. If you need an affordable clone without losing your ass to an unmerciful new contract then this is the one.

Came with faux leather case, 1 GB mini sd, charger, car charger, 2 batteries, headphones, headphone adapter. Swap the SIM's and you're gold. There's no way the cam is 2 MP though.

ohokgreat if you have a SIM card ni your phone you are using now (look in back beghind battery) you should be able to take that out and place it in the back of the p 168+ and its simple as that you will have same features and everything except you will have different phone

i am using tmobile with this phone and have been very dissapointed. After 30mins of tech support from tmobile, we still could not access the internet with this phone. Plus, it has not, to this day, sent any sms messages to non-mobile service providers...very aggrivating. Anyone know how to fix these problems?

i own a p168+ and it is a nice phone and all but it can be decieving. it DOES NOT come with a 2.0 megapixel camera (like it says)rather a VGA (640*480) and the video player is just about the worst i've ever seen. for example, when watching a music video, within 5-10 seconds, the words are so far behind the video, it's unbearable. overall it is a really good phone, however there are some set backs

Don't worry about the phone being legal or not, your just a customer, only the manufacturers will get caught. Also depends on what reason its illegal? For copyright infringement, which only apple have the right to take legal action or for illegal distributing in which case the seller will get caught.

If you don't know how to buy on eBay then just ask a friend to help you. It's a great phone but its dodgey and you'll need a new one within a year or so.
