,no doubt Somaliland will be the frontrie of Africa when it comes democracy, justice.The 3.5 millions of Somalilander and their diaspora will soon enjoy good quality of life.I might sound too optimist but fact will point to that we are democratic country with vast minerals resource.However thier is may challenges laye ahead before we reach the ultimate goal. The question of succesfull Somaliland is not if but when .

i am from Somaliland I would like Somaliland to become its own country so it can prosper, but i think it is better if all of Somalia unites along with Ethiopia giving us back Ogaden. For 20 years Somaliland has fought for independence but never got any, is it going to take another 20 years for us to become recognized? Lets just all unite under one banner

Mr Jeremy, British people understand Somaliland more than any other country. Britain should take the lead on re recognising Somaliland again, there should be now doubt about recognising Somaliland again. As a friend of Somaliland, if you continue your support, Somaliland will definetly acheive its goal of re recognition. Many many thanks.

Britain is already blamed for Somalia's loss of Ogaden to the Ethiopians. The colonizing Brits also gave up a territory largely inhabited by Somalis to Kenya. Now a Brit talks about supporting the further dismemberment of Somalia by siding with a separatist group located in the north while the south is still undergoing a 20-year civil war and therefore is in no position to even voice out its position on this topic. I think the British/UK motto ought to be, "Kick a man while he's down" .

tha brits have done enough to divide the Somali people, and frankly I blame them for all our troubles, do they not comprehend the situation the Somali people are in, a nation that share a single religion, culture, and custom. Somaliland is just another rough state controlled by Ethiopians in Aids Ababa.. instead Somaliland should take up the initiative to unite the Somali people,
