  • ok lemme get this straight you put 5v in and your getting 8v out?

  • Love the work you're putting out Magluvin.

The silence from the 'oil lobby brigade' is deafening!

(I love that as much as i love the idea), Keep on doing the good stuff mate.

Scaled up, and with many hundreds or thousands of these in place of fossil fuel fired power generators, we can kiss goodbye to energy poverty, starvation, and pensioners dying because they cannot afford to heat their homes Not to mention choking emissions causing kids to suffer asthma, Thanks man.

  • @Magluvin Look forward to seeing them.

  • This is a very interesting idea!

So the reed switch and coil is just used for timing? Could you put a 555 IC with a pot and adjust it to change the timing?

  • Yes the rotor and reed are just to supply pulses. If you check my latest vid, I stepped up to a 556 and mosfet. Im not getting the same output as I did with the reed. Im working on it. =]

  • Thanks Guys. Yes, to me it is indisputable.

My idea for this came from thinking how to eliminate all the core bridging in some designs.

Simple, and doesnt require cutting transformers open or searching for special cores to work with.
