im a bronco fan and when lima got sent off broncos dropped off in defence. billy slater should not have scored that try when storm were 12 men down that was the turning point. with 12 men you dont xpect storm to have visited the broncos half the bronc's were defending awesome until slaters try. cam smith should have been in the bin 4 that tackle and ur right sims should have held on 2that ball
ive watched the broncos and supported them my whole life and never have i been so devastated i cried for at least an hour. the images of darren lockyer instantly after the try are just heart wrenching. Ide like to think im not an emotional person but those images are really something.

probably "the" most brutal game of league I've ever watched. Huge hits right up to the 79th minute.... Maybe a six pack less would have got the Broncs over the line?
Or the 2 points we failed to take in the 75th min (right in front!) or Lockyer's knock on in the 77th min? (where he tried to offload whilst falling backward, only to spill it forward)
The tackle on Sims was brilliant (and brutal) he had no chance to keep that ball from spilling. Credit has to go to the tackler.
2muchsexontv you make valid points and I agree with you completely on all of them except that Sims had no chance to keep the ball from spilling, I've seen people cop bigger hits than that and still control the ball and not only that but Sims has horrible ball control or at least during this season he has, nearly every game he's dropped it at least once...
Anyway this game was shattering I felt so sorry for Lockyer afterwards he looked gutted.

Unbelievable that reporters are able to go up to loosing teams and interview within a minute of the whistle. (especially in finals!).

You're probably right re: his ball control. Guess I'm just trying to be the devils advocate. ha ha
Anyway, I'd rather see us beaten by the Storm in a semi, than be whipped by Manly in a Grand Final!
