Doing P90X in addition to a regular cardio routine is pretty freakish.
I got the advertised results just doing the program and some frisbee and soccer games on the weekend, plus about a 1/2 hour of walking to get to and from work.
Enjoy your updates even if they go to weekly updates. That's great you two are doing P90X together, keep it up! I'm sure it's encouraging to see some results already.

I gained a lb as well at the end of 2 weeks but I lost 5 so who knows.

I never looked at it in terms of pounds. I looked at it in terms of how I looked, which was consistently better going through the program.
The program has actually transformed into my regular exercise routine, because it works so well.
