  • fucking stupid crowd, unbelievable

  • these guys are my BOYS!

  • Man, I would be weeping if I was at that show.

  • Saw this live 2 days ago with everyone dead quiet. It was magic.

  • I was at their sxsw showcase last month...behind me was a couple who argued throughout the show. surprisingly nobody told them to shut up - i guess i can understand why. i'd rather savour every second of Caspian rather than waste my time on that couple.

  • They don't even talk for that long in the vid I hate talkers too at shows but damn

  • These kids making this music make me happy. And I'm an old fucker.

  • @MrRedrays yeah ok. they 'slayed' r sparowes. sounds subjective to me bro.

  • sentimentalidade incondicional

  • Was this pre-Erin?

  • This song reminds me that there will be a brighter tomorrow.

  • I cried

  • Anyone know what kind of cymbals Joe Vickers uses?

  • You cannot imagine how loud and beautiful this is until you see it live. Caspian is one of the top live shows I've ever seen.

  • Aye its a shame the talking...A lot of my home Canadian venues are doing that in TO as well now...suddenly, like it became cool to do this now...... >_< ...drives me mad.

  • Majestic

  • i would loveeee to see them

  • crowd is so fucking annoying

  • Moksha - Similar to the concept of Nirvana, to gain the complete transformation from the human state of mind into a state of mind that is one with god. Very hard to achieve, most people don't know about it and never will.

  • awesome song, but any state of mind is an illusion. don't go around thinking God exists, it's just your mind playing a wonderful trick on you, a trick called life

  • Deep, Deep....

  • one of my family mebers r in the band his name is jon and he roxs....wait no not just him but the band i herd there music when he came over on time he roxs he is the most awsomist cusion in the world i <3 him.......i no it cool rite

  • Was fortunate to see them @ Peterborough, UK a few weeks back. One of the most amazing bands I've ever seen. Such talented guys. Simply Stunning.

  • saw them live yesterday... the 2nd time for me

    still very great <3

  • I never thought any band could ever touch Explosions In The Sky. But these guys are right on the same level. Absolutely stunning.

  • i like them better than explosions.

  • I agree, same with this will destroy you.

  • have you ever heard of this will destroy you?

i don't know how much they're like explosions in the sky, but they remind me a lot of caspian.

  • Yeah, I know them, love them too.

  • This will destroy you is a great band. I love all 3 caspian, This will destroy you, and explosions in the sky.

  • saw them on 3th of september in leipzig, germany

    perfect show!

    nice new album!

  • Pretty nice recording once it gets loud enough to drown out all the asshole scene kids just there to be seen and look cool.

  • what's the song about?

    my name is moksha XD

  • i think its about you

  • It's about the music.

  • WHY DOES THE NEW YORK SHOW HAVE TO BE 19+ I thought being 18 meant I could finally get in to decent shows.

  • Because Webster Hall, where they played last night, is a also a dance Club, and you need to be at least 19 to enter in some clubs here in NYC.

  • At least someone cleared that up for me haha. Doesn't matter really, I didn't like Tertia as much as their other stuff, which I would have preferred to see live.

  • Silly amerikkka and their laws tehehehhehe

  • the thing that always bothers me about Caspian is that it never seems like there is a middle to the sound, just low bass and drums and high pitched, thin guitar lines. there is never any girth.

  • If I happened to be there, I would have went around and punched everyone who was ruining it for people who accually wanted to hear it, square in the face.

  • here here! what could they possibly be talking about anyway??? nothing i'd assume, some people just suck. talk after the show, some people are there for a beautiful experience.

  • Amen! I love the sign I saw at the Luminaire in London:

    "SHUT UP

No-one paid to listen to you talking to your pals.

If you want to talk to your pals when the bands are on, please leave the venue."

I wish every venue prominently displayed a copy of this sign.

  • I saw that sign a couple of months ago in the Luminaire and it made me smile too.

I had to tell 4 people off on Saturday for talking during the quiet bits of Mogwai's set. Tossers.

  • Am I the only one who thinks post-rock is just uninteresting? I'm not trying to hate, this music just kind of bores me.

  • then why come on here and state your gay ass opinion?

  • I was hoping someone would say why they liked it. Then I maybe I could appreciate this kind of music from a different point of view.

  • you love it or you are bored with it... that`s post rock. i love it

  • Too true.

  • I'm with you on that one.

  • i know how you feel, much as its a social event lets listen to the glory we all paid for eh?

  • Listen?? Why not enjoy it instead?

  • i was under the impression you had to listen to music to enjoy it, just like you have to actually eat the cake to enjoy it. or have i missed your meaning?

  • Meaning, when I ment to say listen. You are listening to other noise that is happening, during the time while the music is playing. Instead, block out the other noise that is around and ONLY focus on the music and enjoy it :-)

  • i would have helped you.

  • Unfortinally, some people may never grow up...

  • I love this band so much! their music blows me away, and you can just get lost with your own thoughts, or into a fantasy! just amazing! i REALLY want to see them live. Hopefully they will have some shows over Europe way ASAP! pref London ha ox

  • Grandiosi,maestosi,geniali CASPIAN

musica che viene da un altro pianeta.

  • WOW!! AMAZING

  • Oh man, i saw caspian on friday night, they were AMAZING. As usual :P.

  • I saw Caspian live last night at the Middle East in Boston. They stole the show. They're so fucking good! If you've never seen them live, do it! 12 bucks well spent

  • LOL!!! MY NAME IS CASPIAN

  • Caspian music is freaking epic...need to see them live once or hopefully they go to San Diego one day

  • i want them to visit san diego too !!!

just found them on myspace, which i never go on, so that's weird. and now i am addicted! so here i am... waiting..... hopefully they will come here at some point :D

  • Cal is a fucking beast at the glockenspeil

  • See you in Sopot!

  • I love 'em :D

  • I heard about this band on accident, and they turned out to be one of my favourites. (Theres another band called Caspian, that someone reccomended to me. I didn't find that one, I found this Caspian.) The Four Trees is excellent, as good as everything Explosions in the Sky has done to date, I'd say.

  • ooh yeah this is really amazing!!

    I love caspian

  • apollosfury - Caspian play NYC all the time. The next show is March 6 in Brooklyn at the Luna Lounge.

  • wish they came to NY :(

  • aaah. god, i love caspian.

i saw them twice in cedar falls iowa, and the day after the first time i saw them, i went to school and was pretty much still in shock the whole day.

  • yeah, i agree...especially with this music

  • Why do American audiences insist on talking over the song? Totally ignorant.

  • i have no idea. i wish people would just enjoy the music. if you want to talk, stay at home...go outside...whatever...

  • @evasivetear agree !! they have no respect for the artist and other people at the venue

  • Why are people giving this a thumbs down? Completely true. Noisy fucks.

  • Because a large portion of the people attending these shows are there more to be seen and look cool than to actually enjoy the music. Sad but true.

  • @MtStarjump lol because they dont know how to shut up! trust me, im one of them...its bloody annoying >.< i'd like to enjoy the music not hear your annoying voice! lol

  • @MtStarjump probably because they were there to see the other bands and not these slowdive, cocteau twins, shoegaze, sigur ros, instrumentalist from the late 90's -early 2000's RIP OFF artists. funny how they hav more views than any of those bands put together. ppl jump on a bandwagon and the rest is gay history, the masses are truly profane.

  • @lunarsiege It doesn't matter if some where there to see the other bands. Some people were there for Caspian and it shows of little respect for those people to ramble on whilst they try to enjoy the music.

Furthermore, even though Sigur Ros and Caspian are both considered post-rock they sound and are completely different. I also highley doubt the fact of Caspian getting more views.

  • @lunarsiege Your first favorite is the killers by the way. Go preach your bandwagoning elsewhere.

  • @lunarsiege Sigur Ros has like 30,000,000 listeners on last.fm and I'm not joking. Caspian is about 27,000,000 behind.

  • Scratch that, they have 77,000,000 listeners.

  • @MtStarjump what a stupid generalization of american audiences.

  • @MtStarjump Why do people stereotype American audiences? Totally ignorant.

  • if you'd like the dvd, send me a message.

if you're local, i can give you a copy at the show in Beverly on Saturday

  • OOOH Yes please!!!

    Will happily pay P&P!

(Excellent camera work / editing btw...)
