  • THE PERFECT HABITAT FOR A TURTLE

  • JAJAJA is a really good video i want those turtles

  • It was a little boring

  • That color of gravel is too artificial looking in my opinion

  • <3 its sooo cute!!! <3

  • Dude...umm...Its a turtle...not a god XD

  • Turtles cannot eat store food or pellets. They need 70% insects and 30% fresh veggies. Use crickets or bloodworms for your red eared slider but do not leave any food in the tank. Feed them whatever they can eat in 20 minutes. Also the min. tank size for a red eared slider is 75 gallons and make sure he has a basking spot and UVB bulb.

  • it's adorible♥

  • Too cute...Have you ever seen how tinnnnyyy musk turtles are as babies? Like the size of a dime! Cute baby..would love to have one of these for my "gang" =]

  • I have one just like that he's so cute.

  • Your turtle has the best name ever :D

  • Absolutely hate videos wif camera focus problems.. Damn u'd think u're censoring porn here?

  • They're so cute! I have 2 red eared sliders.

  • i have 2 a musk and a map turtle

  • Adventure of a life time :D

  • I have one! :-D

  • I had one of these along time ago, had him for about a year and one day decided he wanted to eat the rocks on the bottom of his tank =( he died =(

  • I don't have crap for monehz rite nao so I have just a little water and a slope for an island made of the floor rocks :L When I get money Ill get a floating island or something.

  • remove gravel, that's painted with toxic products =)

  • you have the water way to high! it is only a baby it could drown!! and yes turtles can drown.

  • Hello! I'm planning on getting a common musk turtle in March, but I'm not sure what size tank to get. I bought a 30 gal tank that was on sale, but since these are small turtles, I'm worried it might be too big. Thoughts? :)

  • @cerinamonroe hey well i might be 11 but trust me i now alot about turtles and there is never to big for turtles that tank is acutaly way to small musk can get to at least 5=7 inches. The rule is evry inch of shell evry 10 gals so least would be 40=80 gal tank if u have any more questions ill be happy to anser ill even make a video....

  • ooh what a nice tank, i'll bet he never gets bored such a cute lil turtle <3

  • Lol I have the same basking area.

  • And he does the same thing, wipe his face XD

  • I have one hes alwasys scared though :-[

  • can you handle these turtles? do they smell??

  • @petetongy123 Yeah you can handle them if you wash your hands afterwards. And they only smell if you don't clean them out. The actual turtles don't smell, but a dirty habitat will.

  • awwww. He looks EXACTLY like my 6 baby musk turtles. except they're a little smaller right now :)

  • Oh my gosh : ) Love watching him pad around his home on his baby legs! Gavin is beyond adorable! You have a real cutie A+

  • btw..agree with the gravel issue...better to remove it & have no bottom rocks than wait. I lost 3 African frogs because of small gravel. :(

  • dude hes freakin adorable. turtle power be on ya! ;)

  • how big do they get?

  • where did u gt them from

  • you should get rid of that small gravel , its dangerous for turtles, they can choke on that

  • @dasyomom I know, next time I need gravel I'll do that.

  • @dasyomom they are too clever to choke on the gravel, they wont even attemp to eat it, i cant see how they could possibly mistake it for food. btw, my musk turtles on my channel are now fully grown, fit and healthy.

  • @madskilladil what are you talking about, somethimes they mistake their own leg for food....

  • @dasyomom totally true!!!!! and funny, it happens, but their leg is meat, and the stone is not.

  • @madskilladil I recommend reading couple good books about turtle care. Good luck.

  • I love your turtles and your tank,I cleaned out my turtles yesterday I did water change and cleaned glass. I havnt did filter as often as I should and I think I pulled something and the filter wont work, everythings plugged in but it wont work and when i switch it off it makes a weird noise but when i put it back on nothing happens. IIt was £80 so please help. thanks:)

  • @MrRawrllyX I don't know what type of filter you have and even so I'd only be guessing. It'd be best to contact the manufacturer and ask them.

  • @haribo122roxsox Its fixed now. But thank you.

  • @haribo122roxsox All sorted a while ago now aha but thankyou

  • @MrRawrllyX when mine does that i just jump start it

  • I want to take it home with me~!

  • What Type Of Musk Turtle.

  • @TurtleRez2 Stinkpot

  • God damn snapping ass whore! Lmao jk i do prefer land turtles though because they dont try to kill you ;)

  • thumbs up fore pink gravel

  • How can you tell the age of turtles when their younger? Because i have a mississippi map and am getting a razorback musk next weekend. And i really want to know! Please help me thank you!

  • @CedarRed12 you cant tell exactly their age, but you can tell roughly by the size. If you get one from the pet shop he will probably be around 3 months, thats how old mine were.

  • @haribo122roxsox Another quistion How can you tell the sex of turtles when their younger?

  • How cute is he, mine looks exactly like him! have you found out whether its a boy for sure?

  • @MsCharlotte01 He's a girl :L I have another one that's a boy though. I named him Gavin 'cause I couldn't tell if he was a boy or a girl when he was younger :L

  • @haribo122roxsox i cant wait till i get my musk. the water is quite deep in urs, does hes surface often??

  • @chaz1453 Yeah you should keep turtles in deep water even when they are hatchlings, but it's good for them to have something to bask on too. When they surface, my turtles sit on their basking log for a while,

  • @haribo122roxsox Did you say "he's" a girl? Lol!

  • @MathangiRavi Yeah habit :L I only found out **she was a girl recently, hence the name Gavin :P

  • haha I love how people talk about Musk Turtles as if they can't survive in Deep Water when in reality they live in Deep Waters!!

  • So what you feed the lil guy?

  • @DavidAlvarezMusic Shrimp and Krill mostly.

  • @DavidAlvarezMusic Sorry I was replying from my brother's account there :L So yeah shrimp and krill mostly.

  • Great video, have look at my turtles.

  • COOL MUSK TURTLES!

  • Yea, but adults are better swimmers than little inch long babies and juveniles, that probably live the safer shallower water upon hatching. I'm just trying to warn this person about mistakes I've seen other people make...

  • @mickeymittermeier i know that but i have a musk and she hates the shallow water since she was the size of a dime

  • That so cute! I love stinkers. <3

  • omg this is the cuttest musk turtle ever!!! you must be proud. where did you get it.

  • You gotta make the water shallower, these turtles are a very shallow water species, and can drown in deep water like that.

  • @mickeymittermeier i have two turtles in water this deep. they both love it, but i've added more stuff for them to climb on since this video so they don't drown.

  • @mickeymittermeier musk turtles live in water 6 feet deep in the wild, i'm sure 8 inches or whatever he has isn't harmful

  • neat

  • i love baby musk there so cute and sweet, i have one but it is a juevenile

  • cool
