  • i like this video i think it help who have more interest in flying(making plane) it also help and make quite my interest i m also having more interest this section one day i hope me i would make a plane as a modern plane. also i have more design it would be help me to discover my plane. thanks

  • @derfred33 What is the model name?

  • What's holding the CF rods together?

  • @heroineworshipper

    its hot glue

  • @derfred33 Hello I am of Colombia and I like the airplane very enormously, you can give the measures me and that type of materials you used, I thank for it to you

  • thats not 3 minets

  • @tenrazo215

I know that 1mm and thiner depron exists but I don´t know who sells, try asking on rc groups.

  • Sorry, I don´t have plans, just templates.

  • can u share the plans, please?

  • Hi, can you share the plan?

    Thanks

  • how do you radio control a free flight plane/glider?

  • @vHAMMYvPRODUCTIONSv

you have to adapt it making control surfaces and if it is very small install the appropriate electronics

  • were did you get the motor for rc

  • Hey dude person this is not 3mins its 3mins 50 and any ways its really cool but i cat fast forward time soz lol thanx 4 the help!! :-)

  • what kind of propeller and motor r u using?

  • @sidincredible

its a gws lps drive and a 10X4.7 prop but you can put a small brushless on it

  • excellent.

    5/5

    plans??

  • nope, just templates for the wings and some dimensions fot the fuselage

  • got any plans

  • Which material is that?

  • not metal, its carbon fiber rods and depron (the wite stuf)

  • how do you move that fast??????????????????

  • I´m supermans´s cusin!

  • lmfao

  • can i have an autograph loool

  • hehehe lol

  • how stupid r u he fast forwarded the camera duh duh duh

  • u probably know this he just fast forwarded it

  • nice

  • faster 3 minute good

  • Very Nice design :) & Good Job. How can I fast forward my life so that I can make it in 3 mins..lol (just kidding)

    Thanks for the info :)

  • lol! thanks for the comment :)

this plane takes about 3 hours to produce...

  • @justlivemyway

hey! don´t ask me to be your spiritual guide ;)

  • Looks like deprom mate!

or you can call it foam sheet as wel!

  • Wow i just saw your video and i have to say I'm impressed...very impressed. thanks a lot 5 stars!

  • can u mail me the template and detail stuff , or where i can get this.................

sure iam going to my own

  • Hi, I don´t have templates that I can send by email, just a few measurements in my head and some cardboard templates I use for the wings cutting.

  • so you just put it on here to show off your skills? that seems pretty useless to me

  • thx 4 ur reply mate , i need more , may be use full

  • can you send me the mesurments and also if you have the video on file could you please slow it down and uplaoad it again i can't follow whats going on thanks nice vid

  • this one is about 50 cm wingspan for about the same lenght

  • it's plastic?

    can you send to U.A.E?

    PLEASE SEND WITH SUMTHING!

    I'TRYING TO 3/4YEARS !

    BUT NOT FLYING!

    PLEASE HELP!

  • what are those sticks made of?

  • carbon fiber tubes

  • What are the ndimensions of the wings and the carbon rod?

  • you can set a proportion of about 1:1 and then slide the carbon tube forward or backwards acording to the weight of the propulsion set so a good 1/3 lenght from the mid point of the two wings leading edge is achieved.

  • that is amazing man, did you buy or build the depron wings. Great video! you should make another.

  • sure!

  • wheres all the radio?

  • the radio would take another 3 minutes :)

  • you mean to say 4 muinets

  • lol...

it took 100.000 views to someone say something smart! :)

  • hey do you know if i could get plans

  • NO, I ONLY HAVE TEMPLATES

  • can i have the templates??

    plzzz

  • hey man can you sent me a diagram or blue print love ur video.. :)

  • don´t have plans for this plane.

  • Nice job,it looks like "Flyer" The Wilbur Brothers lol

  • What is the black glue pen thing your using and i'm guessing thats styrofoam board your using.

    Great Video.

  • Hi

the white material its depron that is glued with hot glue, the black stuff is a hot glue gun. a 15 watts one.

  • hey fred thanks man¡¡¡ :D i wanted to see it fly too ¡¡¡¡

  • hi!

thanks for the support, you can watch videos of this plane flying if you look under my username on the right

  • (of course not! I really can do the airplane in 3 minutes... lol)

ha ha that's the best answer I ever heard..

Please upload a video showing that plane flies,

really... i like it so much but i like to see it in action thanks again

  • lol!

if you go under the "More from derfred33" tab on the right above the related videos you´ll find all my uploaded videos, there are a couple of this plane flying ;)

  • Nice plane

  • man you went so fast your like a pro super human

  • LOL

  • lol nice video nice plane but i don't understa

  • look under my username, there are normal play videos covering all the construction details

  • you speeded up the playing of the moovie acualy taks longr

  • of course not! I really can do the airplane in 3 minutes... lol

  • lol you owned him pretty much :D

    good video

  • oh wait, it's hot glue

  • yes, its a 15 watt hot glue gun

  • what type of glue, it dries really quick

  • what kind of battery powers it

  • its a lithium polymer battery, 80mA 2s

  • can you give me the pdf???

  • I have no plans for this

  • is this card board

  • no, its depron

  • that's cool

  • will this go further than a usual paperplane...

  • this is RC!

  • how are you going to remotly controle it..with strings? i dont see a motor or anything

  • do a search for "mini bip" You´ll see this plane flying

  • did u only use epoxy as glue??

  • no, I used hotglue and a 15 watt gun

  • this is not 3 minutes, this is like 1 hour of timelapse!

  • That was a secret!! Now everybody will know this plane was not made in 3 minutes....

  • Well, its worth making the plane.

  • yes, it flies very well but its not an easy building... you´ll have to make 2 or 3 planes using this method until you do everything right.

  • hey bro you should post it on rc groups or can you send me the plans

  • hi, I think I´ve done that a few months ago... As to the plans, I don´t have them, never made plans for this plane... all I have is a couple of themplates and some measurements...

  • ok ok.. the title says in 3 minutes...but in reality we cant go in super fast speed like that lol

  • lol, in reality its about 3 hours or so... there are real time videos under my username.

  • how did you make the wings????

  • the wings are made of 2mm depron

  • ok but how did you put an airfoil in it?

  • I bended the depron sheet

  • ok how did the depron sheet keep it shape?

  • this is amazing i wish i could make one

  • i going to make it right now

  • hey pls say me whid waht material u build it pls tell me

  • this is carbon fiber and depron

  • it was not 3 minutes it was almost 6 minutes lol

because its fast and look its takes 3:49 to look it full

  • lol, its about one hour and a half If you look under my username you´ll find all the parts hat constitute this video but in normal play ;)

  • lol u have the ailerons and other moving wing parts connected without an angle the moving wing parts will not move many make an 45 degree angle on the edge of the moving wing part do the same on te wing

  • If I understood you, you´r referring to the use of adhesive tape for the hinges, yes, I use scotch tape like (not the regular transparent tape) as a hinge, thus works if you leave about 2mm between the two pieces or if you make a 3º to 45º bezel on one of them so it can flap.

    cheers!

  • thats handy!

  • bevel the edge of both wing and eliron to a 45* angle and put both together as close as posable. this works good!

  • Yes, aerodynamically speaking its better to bevel both parts but in terms of practical results, since you wont be flapping (I don´t know if this is the correct enlish term) more than 45º it is enough.

In larger planes I use this technique as you said, instead of adhesive tape I use the coating, oracover or other good quality adhesive film as hinge. The film is used as one piece over all the top side of the surface...

  • but what do u do at the beginning with the wings?

  • I´m gluing them, at the sime time giving them the dihedral and airfoil.

if you look under my username there are other videos in normal play of all the steps to built this plane.

  • this isnt a brick at all it flies like hell super!

  • my my grandfaher what fast hands you have

  • lol :)

  • errr hahaha thats fast motion or h.e its called

  • yes thats it, I used fast motion so you guys don´t have to watch 1 hour or so of video ;)

  • that rocks.put a back tail wheel hooked up to the rudder.that would have traction and steering and he could fly it indoors

  • HI! I could do that it would be more controllable in the ground.

This plane flies indoor, search for this video:

"Aerofred - Bipe 20 Acro Indoor Video"

    thanks!

  • could you only put ailerons on the wings?

  • the plane has ailerons on all the four wing panels. there are more videos in my site aerofred dot com where you can see this in normal play.

  • that is cool

  • Dude you should build more than see them on ebay to make some money i think it looks cool.

  • yes, I did that about two years ago then had to stop because had no time to build the kits, I still sell them at my site: aerofred dot com

    hanks for the comment :)

  • Ok ill check it out ^^

  • if that's how you 're thinking, you can build a town in 5 minutes:)

  • why do you add $300 to your price just to add a RX and servos ? O_o..

  • the 300usd are for the assembly, hardware and tests, the model is completely ready to fly and the crystal is matched to the costumer´s transmitter. I konw its not cheap but I don´t live in china you know... ;)

  • it took u longer than 3 mins

  • the video edit took me about 3 hours...

  • thanks, it's worth every hour. :-)

  • nice

  • fuck your fast!!!

  • Please Make a turtorial pass to pass.

    Thanks you.Great job!

  • hi!

I have it at aerofred dot com

all those videos are here in youtube and are public... just check under my username.

  • Cute bipe :)

I bet it flies good indoors too!

  • Yes, it flies very well indoor, the best indoor video I have of it is with a 350 mA battery, now I´m using 160 mA batteries with less 15 grams, it d«flies much better now, very slow and because it is light it can perform some aerobatics...

  • Thanks you, I have always been wanting to buld a slow flyer. hey is there a second part to this video?

  • Hi!

I have about 10 videos at aerofred dot com

all the others are normal play speed.

  • lol wow i saw foam rc planes in a bachyard flyer mag i got the stuff but never got any plans, thanx alot. and by the by, did you use any servo's with that plane? Awsome job on the plane best foam ive seen so far

  • Hi! thanks for your kind comments :)

Sure, This plane is rc CHECK OUT AEROFRED DOT COM for more on this plane.

    Regards,

    fred

  • Ah HA! 3:49! :D

    Nice plane, looks like quality

  • U did a great job Fred.. thanks. Now everybody can fly..

  • Lol... Thanks for your kind words ;)

  • that is so cool! how do u come up with all the exact measurements and stuff??? keep up the great work!

    10/10

  • Well, I know how to design airplanes, there are a couple of rules to do that you know ;)

  • Haha if i payed you would you send me the supplies and everything i need haha??? Just asking...

  • Hi! Sorry for the delay... Sure, I sell these planes, go to aerofred dot com for more...

  • excellent! many many thanks

  • wtf? u did dis tooooooooo fast man slo it down!!!

  • lol ;)

  • how come this is RC? and tutorial is not helpfull. no thanks for wasting your time.

  • I don´t understand. this is only the fast forwar version of the video tutorials, there are 10 more on over an hour of tutorials about this plane. and yes, this plane is full rc, check out the mini bip 150 here on youtube.

  • you make it look so eazy

  • :)its not so difficult

  • wow did you come with design yourself? if so than your really smart. are you gonna add an engine?

  • hi, the design is mine ...I guess :)

the plane flies very well with an electric motor: check out mini bip 150 here in youtube

  • cooool, thanks for posting, and keep adding more
