The gig at the Masonic. Was that the one with the legendary inpromptu stage invasion by Joe Stalin, where the last thing I remember was Andrew Werner's taking the lead of Pensioner Dies in Blaze, the epic Western Diplomat's signature song?
THE NEIGHBOURS SMELT THE STENCH OF BURNING FLESH...What lyrics.
I remember the VL Tones on the Black and Decker workmate...genius gesture of improvisation.
The Thin Wall....what can I say? Truly Mr. DAVID OWEN could have made it as a John Foxx lookalike. That poise, that stature, that jacket. He told me he was not going to wear all black in the gig, yet...he did! Why? why???
Aaah, the infinte orange juice table.
JESUS! THE PICTUURES WITH THE MATCHING TIES! No wonder I was never shown them. It would have been Justifiable Homicide.
Great!!

THE FINAL WORD ON MONOSYNTH GLORY.
The ultimate, most obscure synthesizer band ever to come out of early 80's Liverpool. These guys could play.
Philip Bliss...what a name for a vocalist. A master of the warble.
Ian Baker - the Florian Schneider of Childwall/Wavertree border.
Mark Phythian, truly the Ralf Hutter of the paper round.
Big Brophie, very good drummer there on the dustbins, and famous for being the brother of Little Brophie.
