Unemployment is at 9.4%, it was 7.8% when he took office. Unemployment is ALWAYS the last thing to improve when coming out of a recession. It ALWAYS goes higher before it drops. Closing Gitmo was targeted for one year from taking office. More than half of them have been relocated. Nobody accused Chris Hitchens of supporting Obama out of some sense of white guilt. Same for Christopher Buckley, Scott McClelland and the ton of other Republicans who came out for Obama.

It's an incomprehensible notion to think that there are still those in this country who are still convinced that because of a person's ethnic background, that they are not fit to lead this country. Ignorance truly is a great liability.

We'll see. The so-called Bradley effect, as well as the cumulative impact of the McCain campaign's scare tactics, make me nervous. What happens when the actual votes are cast might look different from the polls.
The math says otherwise, but there's as much psychology in play here as math. I hope all's well 11/4.
