@sexyviii yea, I think one of the reasons is that they did live together.that opens up a lot of room for conflict. but it is even obvious from the Dawson-Pacey conflict that they really didn't like each other - you could see they were pulling a lot of their emotion from a personal place. whether they totally hated each other and how much had to do with Katie (if at all) is another matter. he is right, though. just because you work together doesn't mean you have to be friends.
