net users accountname * {reset the password} works like a bioss even with win7 as long as you have admin access. yes, like a bioss. on another note, the candy-ass who made this vid needs to learn how to: •spell •use camstudio instead of some fucktarded shareware •use camstudio or youtube annotations instead of fucking notepad •stop making vids of age old, text based, win2k tutorials. cmd says win 2000 [v 5.0.x] which any dumbfuck knows is WINDOWS 2000 xp is [v5.1.x]

unfortunately, i cant do any of these at school because admin staff block them but i can send a message via cmd ive just worked it out but for this you need the recipients account as just typing their username wont work.

and what comes up is their account.

go into your cmd and type:

msg (account name)

it will then say press ctrl z (or something) and type message

then type ur message and hit enter

You could try rebooting the computer in MS-DOS, if it is not XP, or a type I'm not aware of. There you will most likely see:

C:\>

There you should type in:

C:\>ren *.pwl *.xyz

Then hit enter. This is supposed to rename all password files as unrecognizable. Reboot and try again. If that method fails, you should buy the password recovery tool from Microsoft. Good Luck!!

P.S. You could try rebooting in safe mode, where there should be an account under administrator with a default password.

To answer your question, the CMD window (command prompt) is capable of controlling everything - in the days of text based running systems - no mouse. Really old computers only...
