I have this, and i put in the dock adapter for my Iphone 4, but i can't fit other ipods in and i dont know how to remove the dock adapter? do you know how to do this?

buy it! the 1.05 update fixes all previous hitches. found out to my delight that i could also hook up my android phone to this and download photos backgrounds and music. better still, it charges phone at same time! nighttime mode is brilliant. provides you with dim but clear indication of time on sceeen. I understand that iphone is not fully compatible with this unit. It appears that messages pop up on the iphone when docked. Sony has firmware update 1.05 (June 2010) on thier website. Did the new firmware update of versions 1.03, 1.04 fix the major issues? Thank you.

Which version of the ipod touch are you using? 1st gen or second gen. If 2nd gen which software version is your ipod on? My 2nd gen on version 3.1.2 will not send the video to the clock radio. Just the audio is sent. Thanks for the review. Glad to see it is supposed to do what I bought it for.

Nice review again..

I saw this in store recently and wanted it because of its massive screen just being so pimp..

I plugged my iphone into the store demo model to try it out and it sounded really ordinary (tiny speakers).. like a cheap alarm clock radio which was a disappointment from Sony. I also found the buttons too small and fiddly.

Ended up with the logitech pure-fi dream.. Its got awesome sound and the buttons for alarm off are nice and big!

Yes they are but running the slide show from the memory card avoids the issue. No remote. No IR.

Cool review. I would not normaly cosider a clock radio for my iPod touch, but I like the idea of the 7 inch screen. I only wish that the iPod could be hidden ( like it sliding behind the 'big screen'.
