  • @ngagne Where in the US did you shoot that SPAS? And more importantly could you rent and shoot it? If not, please respond to my channel to tell me the states where people can legally own a SPAS-12? And where I could rent and shoot one.

  • clever girl.

  • this is a good gun i would like to have for home defence cupple it with tshot and high impact slugs and any one in the way your going down

and yes when i move out i will be getting one for home defence

and for all you hot bags of wind a cop told me this yes you can own one with the right licence you can own any gun made in the usa next one iam going to get for rifel shooting contests is the 82 a1 m107 barrett 50 cal and yes you cant stop me

  • @omegaroad its Barrett M82A1/M107 .50 cal.

    You can get that?!

I thought it was for military only, because its a semi auto

  • @CFProject153 nope though the right seller for the guns you can get them

  • @CFProject153 sorry wrong set of words

yes you can get them the gun its self costs about 10 grand but you have to go to barretts school of training and they show you how to shoot the gun and maintenance and all that other good stuff

  • @omegaroad thanks fo the info :)

  • @CFProject153 Well, for $10,250 you can have an M82A1, or for a bit more you can have an M107. Ammunition is prohibitively expensive, even for reloaders, coming in at a bare minimum of $2.50 a pop.

  • @omegaroad any ways cool

  • @omegaroad Correction. You can only purchase a SPAS-12 that is already here in the US, that was imported before importation of them was banned.

As to the Barrett M82A1 OR M107, which are NOT the same rifle, if you have $10,250 you can have one. Ammunition is like $2.50 MINIMUM per round for .50 BMG, even if you reload.

  • Echo

my hole family has been in the army and some has cops so dude i know my shit

barretts m82a1 m107 50 cal has been out for a long time its newer brother just got releaced not to long ago sure they cost 10.250 but if you follow barrett you will know you need training to use that gun training to clean it too

  • @omegaroad The M107 is an improved, lighter version of the M82A1, with a lightened body and a new muzzle brake capable of accepting a suppressor, to reduce or eliminate muzzle flash for night operations. They are not the same weapon entirely. Also, it was designed in a fashion that operation closely mimics that of the AR-15 based weapons in the fire control group, to reduce training time for those already familiar with the AR-15 based platform.

  • @EchoOfLohengrin wow i dont need some one like you who is just like a 15 year old little punk i know who thinks they know it all so if you did not read and take in to thought what i said then you shude not be on youtube epic fail punk blocked

  • @omegaroad I'm 21, have experience with the platform as well as own and operate a 20" AR-15 and an XD-45 Service. If you would check my profile, you would have noticed I have actually uploaded videos.

  • @ngagne Where is that firing range? California bay area? Arizona? Oklahoma? 'Nam? Laos? Cambodia?

  • The gun isn't illegal to my knowledge. Its just banned from import due to its "lack of sporting purpose". I'd still like one as a trophy none the less.

  • As far as i know they're legal to own in the states, but what aboot Canada? Thats a nice piece btw

  • could someone tell me the difference between shells and slugs? i think that slugs are bullets that dont spread, and are just like huge bullets but im not sure. i know that shells are the ones that spread a bunch of pellets.

  • @lucymydog1995 No shells is what the shot is packed in. Buckshot or birdshot is the one with many pellets.

  • @lucymydog1995 All shotgun ammunition is referred to as shells, because of the projectile(s) being contained inside it. Slugs are large, single projectiles, capable of doing massive amounts of damage on impact with any surface other than armor steel. Shot are multiple projectiles contained inside the shell, with the muzzle-end sealed. from the base of the shell up, it usually goes primer-powder-wadding/shotcup-projectile-seal

  • @EchoOfLohengrin so... that means that shotgun slugs shoot out a single, gigantic bullet?? cause thats what i always thought but im no gun enthusiast or expert.

  • @lucymydog1995 Yep. I like slugs. They hurt like a motherfucker to pop off, but they are oh so satisfying.

  • xm1014 rules

  • mod

  • Gordon Freeman. Heh, let me get a look at you, man.

  • @VladimirVLD just cuz hl2 got spas 12 doesn't mean u have too comment bout it

  • 反動がキツそうw

  • This gun is very prestigious for it's foldably buttstock and the style. The complication and the size is also the reason, but it's also the problem. It stopped production in 2001. But you can still buy one at certain places.

  • Wow...bit far a shotgun, that target ain't it?

  • @WonkyTonkBotty, the range we were at only had 100yd lanes.

  • @ngagne Ah, fair enough.

  • @WonkyTonkBotty no it isnt you gay ass fucking mw2 lover nerd faggot dick suck go learn about guns some more you shit twat bitch

  • i thought spas 12's were pump action..??

  • @killernanny4315 i think it can be set to both pump and semi auto

  • @killernanny4315 it can be set t semi auto. but i think pump action is more accurate or somin. i forgot. maybe closer grouping

  • @rickyjangatang1 The spas 12 was meant to be fired in semi auto for standard ammunition. the pump action is for low pressure ammunition that wouldnt cycle otherwise. the choke and barrel length are the only real things that effect spread. this is not a video game. shorter barrels also reduce stopping power, not increase it like video games would like you to believe. just a little fyi =)

  • will someone plz make a SPAS-12 vs hog video.

  • The shotgun of Half Life and Half Life 2!

  • I'm NOT a GODDAMN FAGGOT!!!!!

  • @masterDevis

    fag.

  • lmfao

  • @PaulHark9

    suck it

  • And Hitman!

  • Wow, really? I've never played Hitman.

  • @masterDevis dude this shotgun is like in every FPS game! ive played atleast 50 games with franchi spas 12... most recently left 4 dead 2 & modern warfare 2 and bad company 2

  • @masterDevis wow

  • how many rounds are they again 12?

  • ya it a semi fire shotgun

  • k thanks

  • more like 7 or 8.

  • i think it might be around 6-8. otherwise it would be a military grade shotgun, and would be illegal

  • that isnt true.

  • maybe not... Beretta's Xtrema 2 can hold up to 12 rounds. My Saiga 12 holds 10 and is legal, and could legally hold 20 if I had the drum. But maybe there are laws that Im unaware of...

  • you know you can get military grade guns

  • i think it holds 8 in the tube and 1 in the chamber.

  • i ment it would be illegal if it wasnt a semi-automatic or pump shotgun.

  • its good to know there is some one out there who is NOT retarded and is using the folding stock instead of leaving it up

  • You look X10 more badass with the stock folded though

  • eh, it looks weird to me, so i would rather have full stock or pistol grip and no stock

  • well sometimes it works with what your doing like it your taking a building and the gun might get in the way if the but stock is down.

  • ...and why would that be?

PS...my dad can beat up your dad

  • yea well i am bigger than you *yells in a child voice* lol

you kombat was the most epic kombat ever!

  • deff not.

  • @ClubNew2

You can own pretty much anything in the US that's weapon related as long as you have the licenses to own them. Of course, it is illegal for civilians to own fully automatic weapons that were made before May 19th 1986.

  • @ClubNew2 さん死―ねー

  • @ClubNew2 ur dads illegal

  • where can u get spas 12 and btw which gun is better saiga 20k (russian shotgun) or spas 12 (cool and it auto just like saiga :) )

  • i want it on christmas! :D

  • They stopped making this in 2000 so u better ask santa!!!!

  • :D true, why they stopped making it? :((( it is so great

  • They stopped importing them because it was better than what Johnny Law ( The Cops ) had .

  • wow

  • actually, the gun isnt supposed to take 3" or magnum shells. it was only originally chambered in 2 3/4"

  • Not sure why you got a thumbs down, but you're right. The SPAS 12 cannot safely fire a 3" shell, it's made only for use with 2.75" or 70mm shells, a 3" runs the risk of destroying the firearm.

Patchmasterdoom either doesn't have a SPAS, or is well on the way to destroying it. Firing 3" shells is made all the worse by the fact that the bore is tighter in it than in most other shotguns, thereby constricting the crimp even more.

  • @secretmarksman I dont dont understand who you are talking to

  • @secretmarksman welll mr scientist.

  • i think the semi-auto is badass...but i really wonder how many of the shots hit the intended target...

  • The SPAS 12 really recoils pretty much. I've never seen it recoil so much, infact.

  • Actually, he handled it pretty well.

  • Haha, next time lean into it more.

  • What kind of shells were being used? The recoil on the SPAS pretty much owned his ass...

  • It was a mix of 00 Buck and magnum slugs. SPAS wont cycle with birdshot ya know...

  • Really? I don't have a problem with bird in mine. Are you using the 3" or reduced recoil? I just answered my own question about the recoil. Mine has the solid stock. The folder(just noticed thats the model you have) has to be a bitch to shoot.

  • Nope, its always been finicky. Needs Buck or some sort of heavier load. Oh and the folding stock will leave you amused, but bruised. :)
