@lowlypeasant How so? Clearly you have no idea of how an economy (or the world around you) works. Do you think another aggressive invasion of a third-world country (which is what all other candidates will give us) would be good or bad for our country? Wrap your tiny mind around this number -----> $15,000,000,000,000 and growing. It's INSANE how any American with a shred of common sense could be supporting anybody else.
I am a Canadian and therefore cannot vote. I heard of Ron Paul many years ago, before Obama became President, and I will tell USA citizens to vote for Ron Paul.
@GlassWalrus13 I am with you Glass Walrus, another fellow Canadian hoping the Americans do the Right thing and Vote this man in. We want our close neighbours to finally vote someone in that possesses intelligence, wisdom and passion for the people, - not the pocketbook.
@BorgKing001 Following rule of law and a strong national defense prevents ANY terrorist from taking over anything here. And only Ron Paul adheres to this proven ideal, where the other candidates from 2008 and 2012 want WAR WAR WAR to feed the military-industrial complex and their own pockets.

Ron Paul is for Civil Liberties...of which we American people have very few left. Think about it people....what doesn't the government have a regulation on...what? Name something. I'll show you a bill in congress to regulate it, or a market that will get swallowed in regulation within the year. Better do your own research, but I would have to say, based on RON PAUL's track record, I bet he is our last hope. Socialism or Nationalism, name it what you will, but either way you will be regulated.
yet hes more intelligent than you. Go figure. O and just because he believes in that doesn't mean hes going to shove it down your throat and make you pray in school.
@Bronzecop: ...that is destined to inflate health care costs and limit consumer choice, all the while increasing the national debt to $15 trillion. I agree, he is changing the country - for the worse, not the better.
@CrackedBiscuit XD LMAO ROTF!!! Yeah sure 1% of the GDP each year for 10 years is really going to inflate prices under the healthcare hes providing. Oh wait, you were talking about private healthcare provides hee hee hee. Do you really think 1% of the GDP is going to increase the amount of debt? You're a joke ROTF!!!!!!!
@Bronzecop: By the way, that "caramel baby" about whom you panegyrize is such a great president that he has unremittingly incarcerated innocent medical marijuana patients, wasted taxpayer dollars on a shoddy ideas like Solyndra, perpetuated Bush's wars, killed a U.S. citizen without trial, and introduced a health care reform bill...
@CrackedBiscuit Look at how pitiful you are, putting things onto this president that was not caused by him & say the opposite of some things that he finished up on that the other president couldnt. I love how you ignore the programs he instated that changes lives thanks to the "Patient Protection & Affordable Healthcare Act" and the "Healthcare & Education Reconciliation Act".
@Bronzecop: The irrational mentality that says, "If government does not provide an essential service no one will," is anti-intellectual and downright absurd. Try to grasp an understanding of economics and liberalism before embarrassing yourself again. I highly recommend that you begin with Frederic Bastiat, Friedrich Hayek, and Henry Hazlitt.
@CrackedBiscuit Did I say that numbnuts? Look at you, like a paid puppet making shit up. As with the current market we are in right, yeah there are the same services that are provided without government endorsement; if you can afford it that is. You're the absurd one wanting to cut the programs provided by the government that are life changing.
@Bronzecop: Likewise, without government's guaranteeing of student loans for higher education, institutions of higher education would compete for prospective students, deciding tuition fees and offering loans to low-income students based on grades and intellect.
@CrackedBiscuit You are so full of shit, even if the government wasnt there it'll be worse. Low income students would have to have a damn near perfect credit rating before they can qualify for any loan, even right now they have to have a credit score of at least 750+. And don't give me that free market bullshit because Ronny has no plan to make it that way.
@Bronzecop: Since you sound like an economic illiterate, I can understand that you would not comprehend how the free market works. Where there is demand for a service like education, there will inevitably be suppliers of that service. Without a government monopoly on education, producers of education would compete for students, keeping prices low and educational quality high.
@CrackedBiscuit I love how you cut & paste my name in blue up there to make that fake reply to look real. Only thing you're good at is bashing the government, education is not supposed to be this commercial commodity; it is a necessity for your nation to keep on moving forward. And don't give me that bullshit with Corporate honchos that have the ability to produce, they're in it for a form of control & the high prices they maintain is more than enough evidence of that.
@Bronzecop: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The First Amendment protects all speech, hateful or not, you revisionist ignoramus.

@Bronzecop: Just as business owners would have a right to be racist pigs, you and I would have a right to boycott them. On another note, Ron Paul's opposition to public education is also justified. Based on empirical data, public schools are failing our children in spite of exponentially increased spending in the education sector.
@Bronzecop: Just as business owners would have a right to be racist pigs, you and I would have a right to boycott them. On another note, Ron Paul's opposition to public education is also justified. Based on empirical data, public schools are failing our children in spite of exponentially increased spending in the education sector.
@CrackedBiscuit Oh instead of fixing the problem of lack of resources, just deny children school so they cannot obtain a high school diploma? Thats not justifiable, thats a crime against humanity by today's standards. And what about those who need further education to obtain a better career because their current occupation doesnt pay enough huh? Fuck them too? I am glad Ron Paul will never win. You're just angry because a caramel baby is making this nation better. Your excuses are not sound.
@Bronzecop: Does this mean that he supports racism? No, but private business owners do have a First Amendment right to discriminate. Moreover, since our society is more liberal and more tolerant than it was decades ago, private business owners whose policies included discrimination would not survive long in the market. Their racism would be exposed, and patrons would subsequently avoid doing business with and protest said business owners.
@ Bronzecop: Ron Paul's opposition to the Civil Rights Act discomfited me too until I read his clarifying statement on it. Ron Paul did oppose the Jim Crow laws and government-enforced segregation, but he felt that the Civil Rights Act included an unnecessary provision. He said that the only clause which should not have been included in the bill was the one which prohibited private business owners from discriminating based on race.
@CrackedBiscuit Why did you have to make a fake reply? Yes it is promoting racism, who do you take me for? Ok lets say a clinic denies lets say a white guy with asthma a inhaling while his lungs are constricting because hes white. Oh well, too bad, boycott after a wrongful death occurs because the justice system allows it? Get the fuck out with that non-sense the Civil Rights Act protects everyone whites included.
Against the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Against Public Education that is accessible to everyone & wants to get rid of the Federal Order and let the states be to themselves. Hmmmm?? 1861 all over again, no thanks Ron Paul; I got more than enough southern hicks thinking that I'm a former slave despite the fact that I was never a slave.
@SlimShadyBeast While you're busy being a pitiful racist fuck, guess what you're not busy doing? Typical southern hick, the only thing you have is racial slurs when someone gets the best of you with reality.

Ron Paul for President! 2012! He knew that the 2008 economic fall would happen and he knew how to stop it but no one would listen, among hundreds of lying politicians he stands out for his consistency in telling the truth, Ron Paul has never voted for an unbalanced budget, is for low taxes, wants to bring home our troops and fights constantly for your personal liberties. Ron Paul knows what he needs to do to make the U.S.A a better place all he needs is the chance to make it happen. R. Paul '12
Smart people like Ron because he's a Libertarian - the Libertarian view is basically do what you like but accept responsibility -- smoke weed but don't flick the joint on your neighbor's property, own fire arms but don't shoot innocent people, take out loans but don't expect to be bailed out, eat raw meat but don't complain when you get sick, print and exchange your own currency but don't expect businesses to accept it, work for less than minimum wage if that's all you think you're worth.
I must admit I didn't even watch the debate that year (same sh**every 4 years.)-just my husband did and told me that there was this guy, Ron Paul, who was "American conscience".
If you want to know who to vote for, look at the guy the media is ignoring or discrediting. The mainstream media is the mouthpiece for the banking elite.

The more I learn about RP the less I like him. His belief in the free market with no regulation is insane and stupid, his stance on healthcare is irresponsible, he is very conservative on social issues. WTF is to like about this guy?
This is probably the one and only time I actually agree with everything Howard Stern just said. But just Stern also said in 2008, it's a shame Ron Paul gets almost no media press; and even the press that he does get is largely negative, and makes him out as a radical. As if aiming for more than just the status quo and abolishing everything that stands in the way of our liberties is extreme.

this is 2008...Stern No longer supports Ron Paul....if you think he does, find a clip from 2011 saying so...this is BULLSHIT....STern sold out, he is too big to vocally support Paul..

Ron Paul's nickname is Dr. NO, because he will never vote yes for anything that is unconstitutional. Lobbyist don't even visit him. Ron Paul believes in freedome and liberty for everyone. He is for gays, weed, getting rid of the IRS, against war....the best intellectual candidate by far.
@SonofAmericanREV So why do media Polls promote cain as the leader when Ron Paul is number One and true patriot of the people' I met Ron Paul in person and he is just a down to earth guy that was in 2007'
@bigdog1271 Umm no. He wants rights to EVRYONE. Civil Liberties. Whats is the other option besides Ron Paul? Obama just passed the S.1867 National Defense Authorization Act which is Martial Law and destroys the constitution. He is our last chance to restore The United States or prepare for a Police State and civil war
@BONZAII42@DeepCoverInsurgent but Paul isn't the answer either, his indeed idealistic way of looking at the 50's, is overexagerated. Libertarianism isnt an answer to the world either. Government taking their hands off everything? Really? who would run our prisons then? (at least here the government runs them, NOT private companies like in the US) Those are there for the public. like education. also be quality public schooling, not all can afford private schooling especially US prices...
@toverkleet - I agree my friend which is why some of my NeoCon friends dislike my position. There is a balance that is needed, and that balance is where the perfection will come from if we can get both sides to start concentrating on each other's strengths and stop the rhetoric about each other's supposed weaknesses. So far to date, that's only caused division and the US economy plummeting downward. Freedom to business with COMMON sense law. Both locally and federally. That's the perfect answer
@BONZAII42 I wouldnt call them Neocons. Andrew Sullivan yes. The most right wingers not. they don't believe in facts anymore, they don't think for themselves etc. The free market is supposedly holy, while facts show that it isnt. Its actually a real conservative position to demand for a balance. Its something Aristotle has tought us in his books.
@BONZAII42@DeepCoverInsurgent and give both social security, education for a lot of people fairly cheap (not free but cheap) and we all had a safety net. The rich were not the super rich and intolerance was down on a lower level... Well maybe that sounds 50-ish, but I want to do something not 50-ish, making a mix between capitalism and socialism. Social capitalism? Ah man, it seems my head is stopping a bit, cause I can't properly argue at the moment. ill try to come with something better
That is the only attack on Ron Paul I've heard... "he's a nut". And I haven't heard any variations on it, like he's crazy, or he's unrealistic, or anything like that. Just, he's a nut. It's like people are just parrots repeating what they hear on TV!!
@thotkrime - OK, here's the substance you seek. I live in Washington DC and I'm "inside The Loop" of the political stream. Basically here in Washington you need to be able to have "influence" with peers, or you will have no power. It's not wheter you agree with Pres. Obama's efforts, its about looking at how much MOMENTUM from the people's voice he had, versus how much he has been able to accomplish. It's becuase he's not respected here. You MUST have INFLUENCE to change the masses. :)
@thotkrime - So getting to Ron Paul directly - No Conservative I know disagrees with ANY of his smaller government ideologies. Just his foreign policy negligence and his inability to only tout ideas, not solid plans of action. Again, he thinks you can just march into Washington with a pen, and magic happens. Doesn't work that way. I am sympathetic and DEFINITELY agree, Washington needs SERIOUS change, I just disagree with you, Ron Paul doesn't have the FORTITUDE/INFLUENCE to make this happen. :)
@BONZAII42@DeepCoverInsurgent what ever you guys think, I am at least proud that you guys are giving a constructive arguement :D that make my heart feels a little better about youtube :) Anyway, on topic. I never considered myself optimist (Im not an American) especially how i look at how the US is doing. I come from a social democratic country, which has been tried to break down since the moment right wing "free market" thinkers started to take over. We were fine to pay more taxes (cont.)
@thotkrime - But being a veteran, I can tell you that he also has lost a LOT of veteran support, and active duty with his absolutely mind blowing position on the wars and the tone he uses in calling us killers. Those are not inviting words for someone who could potentially become your commanding officer. I assure you, all politics aside, he has lost the respect of some VERY powerful generals. And the CULT like following with the AGRESSIVE tone of some followers has other's deeply concerned!
@thotkrime - That my friend will take the return of Jesus Christ. LOL - I say that with light sarcasm, but it's a MONUMENTAL hill we have to climb. Our people have become so self centered, so opinionated, that the TRUTH is but a blur of fragment amongst the uprising of sheer noise. Life isn't complex, humans are! W2 things will happen. We'll either push ourselves into a type of civil war, or we'll all learn to pause, open our ears and hearts, and work together. I pray for the obvious. (CONT)
Dr. Paul appeals to liberals, conservatives, and moderates. Once this moves in to the primaries and out of very focused, biased polls, I think the good Dr.'s numbers will skyrocket.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I frankly disagree. Anyone and everyone who is attached to foreign policy will not in any way give Ron Paul consideration. Anyone who is a constitutional constructionist and understands the path in which Ron Paul would have to take to make ANY changes, knows it's IMPOSSIBLE for Ron Paul to accomplish even some of the minor claims he makes. It may sound good, but it will not happen. Our next president MUST be a major influence of people, and a STRONG business person.
I believe he is the most qualified. He is a Dr. so he is uniquely qualified to confront healthcare issues, a veteran who understands our troops, a student of economics who called the housing bubble in 2001, and believes that diplomacy and trade are better than war. He is principled, and has a distinguished voting record. Nobody else running has his resume. So I'm voting for him.
@DeepCoverInsurgent he isnt. You should read his opinion on healthcare. He forgets that its not patients and doctors make health decisions, but companies. He wants to go back to the 50's while we live the next millenium
@toverkleet - I understand the logic behind that optimistic decision. Sincerely I do. But the honorable level of mankind itself has changed. There are those who now don't have ANY guilt in taking advantage of the government systems, or insurance companies, etc. We now have to GOVERN in a way that keeps a perspective which protects us all. If someone who is a hypochondriac, eats up a lot of insurance, who pays? We all do. Laws help protect insurance providers which in turn protects us. (CONT)
@toverkleet - I BELIEVE very strongly that we can return this country to a time like the 50's. In fact, I pray with all my heart, we can get there. But for me to believe it can happen with one presidency, or that one man can make the changes Ron Paul dreams he can, IMPOSSIBLE. And there's a difference between HOPE and pragmatic reality. REALITY says we must change the people FIRST, and bring them back to an HONORABLE, UNIFIED society that has personal conviction and community compassion. (CONT)
I do agree that corporations are running the show, so does Dr. Paul, he has been very clear about it. They are only able to do this because they are able to influence government. That's why he wants to get the government out the market. If government can't legislate the market, neither can the corporations.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - There are MANY doctors with far more advanced specialties than his that ADAMANTLY disagree with his position. Are you saying their ideas are wrong? He's called the military soldiers KILLERS, do you seriously believe they want him as a commander? As a vet I get tons of feedback, and my entire family is military, including my 2 sons, everyone saw the housing bubble coming, most were to greedy and ignorant to avoid it. Doesn't make Ron Paul the Messiah. (CONT)
Okay, other doctors disagree with him, competing ideas is a good thing. Ron Paul was a flight surgeon for the US Air Force in the '60s, being more specialized in a field of medicine doesn't somehow make you more qualified to discuss the regulatory and business ends. I don't care if your entire family is in the military, that doesn't validate your opinions. Nor does it change the fact that Dr. Paul is pulling in a lot of donations from active duty military.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I understand your position. I'm not attempting to persuade you into another belief. I'm only telling you the buzz here in Washington DC and what feedback I am hearing from friends & Family in the military. Also, I pay attention to polls which shows Ron Paul so far down it would be historical to come back and be considered a front runner at this late stage of the game. So to me, it's based upon Washington's view of Ron Paul and the percentages. Which is a solid viewpoint.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Sincerely, It's not about the "ideas" he represents. I actually agree with his smaller government, constitutional beliefs. BUT, to somehow say ignoring the rest of the world, problems go away is one of the most ignorant statements I have EVER heard. Why do Americans not understand some of our foreign policies? Easy, because like ANYTHING you view from afar, you can't understand it's value. There are foreign ideologies that mean us GREAT harm! Don't ever believe otherwise!
We have not legally declared war since WW2, we still occupy countries we defeated in WW2. We have hundreds of military bases all over the world, why? Do you not understand that Iran is pissed because we overthrew their elected government in the '50s and installed a dictator? That is why the radicals are in power now. We propped up Saddam to fight Iran after they kicked our puppet out, we armed the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets. We had a base in the Muslim holy land.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I'm sorry my friend, the word "Occupy" in a military sense, or as you use it means we COMMAND the country. You'll need to look that definition up. We are BASED in many countries, and the civilian population may not like it, but I assure you the governments are damn glad that our military is there. For an example I spent a year and a half in S. Korea. I assure you that government is very glad we're there. But we don't RUN their country. That's what OCCUPY means militarily.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Secondly, we don't OCCUPY countries we "defeated" in world war II, we are based in ALLY countries we helped WIN back from the Nazi's in World war II, to INCLUDE Germany herself. Yeah, the PEOPLE of Germany were damn glad we were able to get them past Hitler, make no mistake about that!! :) As was the rest of the world! Iran's supposed president in the 1950's was a dictator, you may want to study that more carefully. with Saddam, we made mistakes, doesn't everybody?
Our sanctions on Iraq killed hundreds of thousands of people while Saddam lived in opulence. Yeah, people in the middle east are really fucking pissed at us. We prop up one brutal regime after another, we still support Saudi Arabia, and they are the biggest supporter of radical fundamentalism in the world, but we leave them alone because we want their fucking oil. Do not lecture my about foreign policy. That is what Ron Paul is saying, actions have consequences. Non-interventionism!
@DeepCoverInsurgent - First, I have been very respectful to you in our dialogue, looking for the same back. As for the "OIL" argument, that's not the case at all. Research where America gets the majority of its oil from and you'll be amazed. It isn't Arab based countries at all. Just a very small margin. I've been accused of regurgitating FOX news, which is too funny, because all I ever get back in argument is Liberal slant which is not facts. What's your personal Middle East Experiences?
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I don't think so. I believe if someone has taken such a seriously hard stance on something they need to have irrefutable proof of its existence. There are people who have both agreed and disagreed with the war, but one finite piece of truth that seems to be a constant is that both agree the news is improperly reporting the TRUE events that happen there. So again, my question was, what is your personal experience there? its a logical gauge of your depth of the events. :)
You say that even though the US and the UN started sanctions long ago and that the Iraqi people have always been treated poorly, I shouldn't blame the US for deaths that occur as a result of sanctions we supported? Demanding proof while saying you know stuff but can't go into too many details, that I should accept your assertions that policing the world is necessary. Implying that because I wasn't there I don't know how our foreign policy affects people? Dead people isn't enough?
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Again, combative. A sign that one is defending a point in which substance will not prevail. Your story has holes in it - there's no PROOF the sanctions induced the death, its is mere speculation and politically driven propaganda. Guess you're not aware of the usage of propaganda by an enemy force for position of leverage. Or mis-quotes taken out of context for the purpose of one's agenda. Maybe you should SPECIFICALLY list WHICH top official, and which news reported it.
How about UNICEF, from Baghdad, reported by Reuters in 2000, as I've already mentioned. Their numbers show that since the sanctions began mortality rates amongst children and the elderly increased, but you want me accept your assertions that we need to police the world because of stuff you know but can't go into details about?
Two UN humanitarian aid coordinators in Iraq, Hans von Sponeck and both Denis Halliday both resigned, saying that the sanctions were hurting people and strengthening Saddam.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - UNICEF said mortality rate has increased, yet no mention of the breakdown of SPECIFICS as to what was the increase in rate of death. You see, you allowed someone to say something and because it played in with your own ideology, you simply concreted it into FACT. The MORTALITY rate, is DIRECTLY related to the famine, due to POVERTY!! Not due to SANCTIONS. They were already being "SANCTIONED" by Saddam way before America came about.. Study it, you'll see I am right
Anupama Rao Singh, Unicef’s senior representative in Iraq: “In 1989, the literacy rate was 95%; and 93% of the population had free access to modern health facilities. The phenomenon of street children or children begging was unheard of. Iraq had reached a stage where the basic indicators we use to measure the overall well-being of human beings, including children, were some of the best in the world.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - you know history is a funny thing. I scanned back in the archives of the news prior to desert storm, and the current gulf war, and EVERYONE was bitching the president needed to do SOMETHING to oust Saddam! YEAH, the word "OUST" is used time and again. quoting failures of his father to NOT do it. Their's reports of: POVERTY, HOMELESS CHILDREN, scores of murders by the government. And YES WMD's!! That's right, not Bush's word, the WORLDS!! - (CONT)
@DeepCoverInsurgent - That's what's wrong with America, most FICKLE people on Earth. Can't make their mind up what they want, all they do is BITCH about everything!! Too hot, too cold, to slow, too fast.. JESUS CHRIST, can't anyone show fortitude anymore?? Iraq HAD to be done, don't care who likes it, history will come back and right the wrongs by media slanted liberals. TOUGH tasks sometimes have some TOUGH consequences, but to tell me Iraq was better off with Saddam is pure INSANITY!!!!
Again, you're deflecting, erecting straw-men. I never supported Saddam, it should have been done the first go around. My point is we shouldn't have supported the piece of shit in the first place, we did because of our foreign policy on Iran. Then we stand by while he gasses the Kurds. You've still failed to prove your initial claim, that we should police the world, and you still haven't given any clues as to how we are supposed to continue in this manner when we are broke.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - who's deflecting? you keep going back to a statement I already made and confirming it... First bitching that Saddam should be removed, now Bitching about the reality it brings about. Like I said, too hot, too cold. Never satisfied yet always pretending to be the cerebral one. As soon as you publicly acknowledge that you've never made a mistake in your life, then I'll gladly listen to you cut down our country for not being perfect. Until then, all I hear is hot air moving.
This started about foreign policy, and it's failures, and how we are supposed to support military adventurism when we are broke. I said sanctions hurt the Iraqis more than it did Saddam. Who, as I said, should have never been propped up by us, or left behind by us after the Gulf War. All you have done is say I know, trust me, I know people who know. Your entire side of this thing has been without substance.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I guess you haven't been paying attention t the overall theme of my messages, they have directly explained using ongoing worldly facts, why America must time and again police the world. Also, I wrote 3 complete paragraphs here directly explaining it. Guess you skipped to just the last ones and began typing... America has and always will need to be a shinning beacon. Like it or not, broke or not, we help keep the peace. and YES, sometimes by hitting first!
@DeepCoverInsurgent - You don't get it. Just consider yourself lucky that the country you live in gives you the right to trash it, and still live free and prosper. I'm glad you can roll over in your bed snug while other parts of the world have evil dictators ruling over them. But as long as your cumfy, right? Typical Liberal, always bitching, never serving. NEVER able to grasp the concept that hugs don't heal everything, sometimes force is necesarry. I don't create the rules, I just live them.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - again, that's the main reason why Ron Paul will NEVER make president, he has your view points. He couldn't grasp foreign policy if it were laid out in crayon. I guess all of his followers are the same. By the way, the WARS this country has faced is less than 5% of the total DEBT we incur annually, so please explain tome how stopping the wars is going to bring prosperity. another fantasy cooked up by Liberals in an attempt to stop wars. (CONT)
Saying it's only 5% of the debt doesn't change the fact that it's money we don't have. I'm not serving because I was deemed Non-Combat Reliable by the military in '99, I have a seizure disorder, it's not really a choice, so you can drop the attitude and the ridiculous assumptions. Liberal? I'm obviously far more conservative than you. You really are piece of work, well done.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Here's a novel idea, instead of bitching at the country that seems to have to fix everything the world breaks, why don't you go bitch to the leaders who are the ones inflicting all the pain and suffrage in the first place? I'll tell you why, because you haven't the BALLS or FORTITUDE and you wouldn't DARE risk your life for a cause greater than yourself. You could be like American, Rachael Corrie, who tried to stop a Bulldozer with her body. At least she had balls! (CONT)
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Just goes to show you that ACTIVISM and WORDS don't matter sometimes!! Unfortunately for Rachael she found out the hard way. All these civilians who live in their own little posh world, and have their beautiful little daily routines. Give old clothes, feed the homeless, send a dollar or two when they see a tear jerker ad, SUDDENLY they become worldly experts and think they know how to solve everything. Makes veterans of real world realities laugh!
@DeepCoverInsurgent - by the way, I'm sure Iraqis will give up all those SUPPOSED FREE things for freedom!! Ever been drug from your house and beaten almost to death? Ever had your wife raped in front of you because someone at the grocery store thought you said something about Saddam's cousin? Ever had your cousin killed because the government thought your writing on YouTube were treasonous? YEAH, tell me how WONDERFUL the rule of Saddam was.. PLEASE.. your insulting both of our intelligence!!
@DeepCoverInsurgent - LOL I guess your world is pretty bleak, I mean with that shallow narrow mind you possess? so Corrie is a Fallacy, the history before our invasion of Iraq is a fallacy, the treatment of the people prior to US is a fallacy, The UNICEF corruption is a fallacy, BOY I guess the world is just one big fallacy... Except for your messiah Ron Paul, his clarity is SO great that he's now the second lowest on the election poll percentages... Wake up dude, pull your head out, BREATHE.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Again, that's not the report on the ground from the people I know directly responsible for taking care of these matters. Again, UNICEF is supposed to be a world help organization, but NO ONE doubted their intentions and they didn't attempt to hide them either. Their position on the war,and reports greatly reflected their sentiment towards the war. Like I sad before, if your boots weren't there, I can assure you, the information you hear in news, is BOGUS a hell.
Again, you assure me without proof, and engage in logical fallacies. You demand proof, I point you to reports from people on the ground, two people who managed the the Oil For Food Program and quit because it was hurting the people, not Saddam, and UNICEF's Senior Representative on the ground in Iraq. You say it's bias, it's totally bogus than expect me to buy into your assertions gleaned from people you know? Nice double standard you're engaged in.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - hahaha - you keep mentioning logical fallacies which is hypocritical on your part. As if your facts are concrete. EVERYONE knows UNICEF soiled their name! The only ones who didn't care were left winged liberals who liked what they were saying. Like I keep saying, you weren't there so you haven't a clue. The men and women who were know, and so do those who still closely monitor everything there. Who by the way, laugh when they hear a news story and just shake their heads.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - STUPID YOUTube, would let me post any links to show you the SERIOUS corruption of UNICEF!! It's ALL OVER the news!! Can't believe you don't know it. Why do you think a few years back large organizations like the Girl Scouts, YMCA and even the Salvation Army didn't give money or try and help raise money for the UNICEF? Because they were on the carpet for a LOT of corruptible events... :)
Leader stole money, misuse of appropriated funds, links to bad leaders, etc....
@DeepCoverInsurgent -Also, your argument about our sanctions killing people is WAAAAY off base. Not one single thing about our sanctions put a bullet in ANYONE's head. Our INACTION to take him out sooner did. That's what happens when you have a president that doesn't know how to take a STRONG stance on foreign matters. Thanks for helping my value point about why Ron Paul would be a terrible president where foreign matters are concerned. Saddam was killing his own relatives long before us!
BAGHDAD - A senior U.N. official said Friday about half a million children under the age of 5 have died in Iraq since the imposition of U.N. sanctions 10 years ago.
If we are not over there to project force why are we there? Why do we continue to support Saudi Arabia if we are all about helping people? Why aren't we in Africa stopping genocide? I'm not saying WW2 was a bad idea, I'm saying we shouldn't still be operating military bases there. We can't afford it.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I understand your thoughts, sincerely I do. I think there's a part of our government which most don't get to see. And its for the effectiveness of it, but Americans would be absolutely FLOORED if they had any idea of the "REAL" events that played out behind closed doors in respect to foreign countries and the worlds dictators/leaders. Everyone says America doesn't need to be the sheriff of the world, I strongly believe its the thread that's kept it together. :) (CONT)
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Without too much detail my previous professional experiences has allowed me to see things first hand that would amaze and scare the average civilian walking down the street. I know people "HATE" this idea, and I get it, some people hate the cops that patrol their neighborhoods to, but without them, there would be danger. I assure you, there is a need for a policing of the world and the UN is the most pathetic organization on the face of this planet!! And CORRUPT as hell...
@DeepCoverInsurgent - A large part of the foreign security America does keeps us out of more wars than in them. From time to time, we do go to war. Something that we can agree to disagree on, but it is unfortunate that we live in a world where it takes the loss of life in order to have a civilized one. As for the GENOCIDE in Africa, I'm right there with you. You can thank the UN's perverted influence and the COLD climate of leaders around the world. Not just America! But YES, its a TRAVESTY!!
How is provoking Iran, supporting brutal dictatorships, imposing sanctions that only ever seem to hurt regular people, etc, going to keep us out of war? How is that good foreign policy? Regardless of our personal views, the fact is we cannot afford to do these things anymore. The world is going to have to start taking responsibility for itself. We have extremely pressing issues here at home that we should be dealing with.
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Why sanctions in the first place? Let's go back to the beginning of this whole scenario and ask that question. Before WMD's, mustard gas on the Kurds in the North, before Saddam was even president, back when he was the Security Adviser before Vice President.. :) That's when America and UN began Sanctions, and it was for the same reasons. They've always poorly treated the Iraqi people. So don't blame deaths on America, it's always been that way - go back 2,000 years!!
@wojovox - Well it's been very tough to find a candidate this year. I would have considered Chris Christie from New Jersey, or Bobby Jindel from Louisiana, or someone with massive appeal across both their party and moderates. In this case, Ron Paul has a very tight following of people, but unfortunately has no respect from his own party, or leaders in Washington period. The rogue cowboy approach will fail miserably and we MUST have very very strong leadership. USA is in dire need of a "Reagan"!
I don't know what to say of Reagan with the rhetoric out there. Some praise/some scorn him (like all other presidents). I feel as if he was elected for charisma and nothing substantial outside that. Though, I would like to find unbiased reports on him. He was before my time. Why do you think Paul is not "very very strong" leadership? I don't know what we need, but both parties, all canidates, and this country seem to be going tangent of my ideals.
@wojovox -- Those who usually hate him its more political line than actually disliking. Reagan brought us one of the most powerful economic growth spurts this country has ever had. He also brought the end to the cold war by utilizing strength. But strength with open communication and respect at the same time. In fact, you should go read what President Gorbachev said about Reagan, and why he ended the cold war. That will tell you the strength of Reagan. As for our current situation (CONT)
@wojovox - We really need serious help. Its beyond party lines and the US is so divided right now that it may take a miracle for there to ever be any reconciliation. As drastic as this sounds, it could happen - I think we could easily slide into a civil war. Not like the old one, but an incredible fallout still the same. I for one blame it on too much immigration without assimilation. Too many come here then try to change American culture. Look at Europe, that will be us tomorrow (CONT)
If Ron Paul gets elected ,,if he does,would be nothing but another Elitist that would put the final nail in the coffin...beware

Do you think another aggressive invasion of a third-world country (which is what all other candidates will give us) would be good or bad for our country? Wrap your tiny mind around this number -----> $15,000,000,000,000 and growing. It's INSANE how any American with a shred of common sense could be supporting anybody else.

@Bronzecop: ...that is destined to inflate health care costs and limit consumer choice, all the while increasing the national debt to $15 trillion. I agree, he is changing the country - for the worse, not the better.
CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit XD LMAO ROTF!!! Yeah sure 1% of the GDP each year for 10 years is really going to inflate prices under the healthcare hes providing. Oh wait, you were talking about private healthcare provides hee hee hee. Do you really think 1% of the GDP is going to increase the amount of debt? You're a joke ROTF!!!!!!!
Bronzecop 1 month ago
@Bronzecop: By the way, that "caramel baby" about whom you panegyrize is such a great president that he has unremittingly incarcerated innocent medical marijuana patients, wasted taxpayer dollars on a shoddy ideas like Solyndra, perpetuated Bush's wars, killed a U.S. citizen without trial, and introduced a health care reform bill...
CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit Look at how pitiful you are, putting things onto this president that was not caused by him & say the opposite of some things that he finished up on that the other president couldnt. I love how you ignore the programs he instated that changes lives thanks to the "Patient Protection & Affordable Healthcare Act" and the "Healthcare & Education Reconciliation Act".
Bronzecop 1 month ago
@Bronzecop: The irrational mentality that says, "If government does not provide an essential service no one will," is anti-intellectual and downright absurd. Try to grasp an understanding of economics and liberalism before embarrassing yourself again. I highly recommend that you begin with Frederic Bastiat, Friedrich Hayek, and Henry Hazlitt.
CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit Did I say that numbnuts? Look at you, like a paid puppet making shit up. As with the current market we are in right, yeah there are the same services that are provided without government endorsement; if you can afford it that is. You're the absurd one wanting to cut the programs provided by the government that are life changing.
Bronzecop 1 month ago
@Bronzecop: Likewise, without government's guaranteeing of student loans for higher education, institutions of higher education would compete for prospective students, deciding tuition fees and offering loans to low-income students based on grades and intellect.
CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit You are so full of shit, even if the government wasnt there it'll be worse. Low income students would have to have a damn near perfect credit rating before they can qualify for any loan, even right now they have to have a credit score of at least 750+. And don't give me that free market bullshit because Ronny has no plan to make it that way.
Bronzecop 1 month ago
@Bronzecop: Since you sound like an economic illiterate, I can understand that you would not comprehend how the free market works. Where there is demand for a service like education, there will inevitably be suppliers of that service. Without a government monopoly on education, producers of education would compete for students, keeping prices low and educational quality high.
CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit I love how you cut & paste my name in blue up there to make that fake reply to look real. Only thing you're good at is bashing the government, education is not supposed to be this commercial commodity; it is a necessity for your nation to keep on moving forward. And don't give me that bullshit with Corporate honchos that have the ability to produce, they're in it for a form of control & the high prices they maintain is more than enough evidence of that.

CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit Oh instead of fixing the problem of lack of resources, just deny children school so they cannot obtain a high school diploma? Thats not justifiable, thats a crime against humanity by today's standards. And what about those who need further education to obtain a better career because their current occupation doesnt pay enough huh? Fuck them too? I am glad Ron Paul will never win. You're just angry because a caramel baby is making this nation better. Your excuses are not sound.
Bronzecop 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit Oh, and where the fuck in the constitution in the First Amendment that people have a right to discriminate?
Bronzecop 1 month ago
@Bronzecop: Does this mean that he supports racism? No, but private business owners do have a First Amendment right to discriminate. Moreover, since our society is more liberal and more tolerant than it was decades ago, private business owners whose policies included discrimination would not survive long in the market. Their racism would be exposed, and patrons would subsequently avoid doing business with and protest said business owners.
CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@ Bronzecop: Ron Paul's opposition to the Civil Rights Act discomfited me too until I read his clarifying statement on it. Ron Paul did oppose the Jim Crow laws and government-enforced segregation, but he felt that the Civil Rights Act included an unnecessary provision. He said that the only clause which should not have been included in the bill was the one which prohibited private business owners from discriminating based on race.
CrackedBiscuit 1 month ago
@CrackedBiscuit Why did you have to make a fake reply? Yes it is promoting racism, who do you take me for? Ok lets say a clinic denies lets say a white guy with asthma a inhaling while his lungs are constricting because hes white. Oh well, too bad, boycott after a wrongful death occurs because the justice system allows it? Get the fuck out with that non-sense the Civil Rights Act protects everyone whites included.

@SonofAmericanREV And he will always vote NO on women's rights issues.

@BONZAII42 @DeepCoverInsurgent but Paul isn't the answer either, his indeed idealistic way of looking at the 50's, is overexagerated. Libertarianism isnt an answer to the world either. Government taking their hands off everything? Really? who would run our prisons then? (at least here the government runs them, NOT private companies like in the US) Those are there for the public. like education. also be quality public schooling, not all can afford private schooling especially US prices...
toverkleet 3 months ago
@toverkleet - I agree my friend which is why some of my NeoCon friends dislike my position. There is a balance that is needed, and that balance is where the perfection will come from if we can get both sides to start concentrating on each other's strengths and stop the rhetoric about each other's supposed weaknesses. So far to date, that's only caused division and the US economy plummeting downward. Freedom to business with COMMON sense law. Both locally and federally. That's the perfect answer
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42 I wouldnt call them Neocons. Andrew Sullivan yes. The most right wingers not. they don't believe in facts anymore, they don't think for themselves etc. The free market is supposedly holy, while facts show that it isnt. Its actually a real conservative position to demand for a balance. Its something Aristotle has tought us in his books.
toverkleet 3 months ago
@BONZAII42 @DeepCoverInsurgent and give both social security, education for a lot of people fairly cheap (not free but cheap) and we all had a safety net. The rich were not the super rich and intolerance was down on a lower level... Well maybe that sounds 50-ish, but I want to do something not 50-ish, making a mix between capitalism and socialism. Social capitalism? Ah man, it seems my head is stopping a bit, cause I can't properly argue at the moment. ill try to come with something better
toverkleet 3 months ago
That is the only attack on Ron Paul I've heard... "he's a nut". And I haven't heard any variations on it, like he's crazy, or he's unrealistic, or anything like that. Just, he's a nut. It's like people are just parrots repeating what they hear on TV!!
thotkrime 3 months ago
@thotkrime - OK, here's the substance you seek. I live in Washington DC and I'm "inside The Loop" of the political stream. Basically here in Washington you need to be able to have "influence" with peers, or you will have no power. It's not wheter you agree with Pres. Obama's efforts, its about looking at how much MOMENTUM from the people's voice he had, versus how much he has been able to accomplish. It's becuase he's not respected here. You MUST have INFLUENCE to change the masses. :)
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@thotkrime - So getting to Ron Paul directly - No Conservative I know disagrees with ANY of his smaller government ideologies. Just his foreign policy negligence and his inability to only tout ideas, not solid plans of action. Again, he thinks you can just march into Washington with a pen, and magic happens. Doesn't work that way. I am sympathetic and DEFINITELY agree, Washington needs SERIOUS change, I just disagree with you, Ron Paul doesn't have the FORTITUDE/INFLUENCE to make this happen. :)
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42 @DeepCoverInsurgent what ever you guys think, I am at least proud that you guys are giving a constructive arguement :D that make my heart feels a little better about youtube :) Anyway, on topic. I never considered myself optimist (Im not an American) especially how i look at how the US is doing. I come from a social democratic country, which has been tried to break down since the moment right wing "free market" thinkers started to take over. We were fine to pay more taxes (cont.)
toverkleet 3 months ago
@thotkrime - But being a veteran, I can tell you that he also has lost a LOT of veteran support, and active duty with his absolutely mind blowing position on the wars and the tone he uses in calling us killers. Those are not inviting words for someone who could potentially become your commanding officer. I assure you, all politics aside, he has lost the respect of some VERY powerful generals. And the CULT like following with the AGRESSIVE tone of some followers has other's deeply concerned!
BONZAII42 3 months ago

DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I frankly disagree. Anyone and everyone who is attached to foreign policy will not in any way give Ron Paul consideration. Anyone who is a constitutional constructionist and understands the path in which Ron Paul would have to take to make ANY changes, knows it's IMPOSSIBLE for Ron Paul to accomplish even some of the minor claims he makes. It may sound good, but it will not happen. Our next president MUST be a major influence of people, and a STRONG business person.
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent he isnt. You should read his opinion on healthcare. He forgets that its not patients and doctors make health decisions, but companies. He wants to go back to the 50's while we live the next millenium
toverkleet 3 months ago
@toverkleet - I understand the logic behind that optimistic decision. Sincerely I do. But the honorable level of mankind itself has changed. There are those who now don't have ANY guilt in taking advantage of the government systems, or insurance companies, etc. We now have to GOVERN in a way that keeps a perspective which protects us all. If someone who is a hypochondriac, eats up a lot of insurance, who pays? We all do. Laws help protect insurance providers which in turn protects us. (CONT)
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@toverkleet - I BELIEVE very strongly that we can return this country to a time like the 50's. In fact, I pray with all my heart, we can get there. But for me to believe it can happen with one presidency, or that one man can make the changes Ron Paul dreams he can, IMPOSSIBLE. And there's a difference between HOPE and pragmatic reality. REALITY says we must change the people FIRST, and bring them back to an HONORABLE, UNIFIED society that has personal conviction and community compassion. (CONT)
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@toverkleet
I do agree that corporations are running the show, so does Dr. Paul, he has been very clear about it. They are only able to do this because they are able to influence government. That's why he wants to get the government out the market. If government can't legislate the market, neither can the corporations.
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - There are MANY doctors with far more advanced specialties than his that ADAMANTLY disagree with his position. Are you saying their ideas are wrong? He's called the military soldiers KILLERS, do you seriously believe they want him as a commander? As a vet I get tons of feedback, and my entire family is military, including my 2 sons, everyone saw the housing bubble coming, most were to greedy and ignorant to avoid it. Doesn't make Ron Paul the Messiah. (CONT)
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I understand your position. I'm not attempting to persuade you into another belief. I'm only telling you the buzz here in Washington DC and what feedback I am hearing from friends & Family in the military. Also, I pay attention to polls which shows Ron Paul so far down it would be historical to come back and be considered a front runner at this late stage of the game. So to me, it's based upon Washington's view of Ron Paul and the percentages. Which is a solid viewpoint.
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Sincerely, It's not about the "ideas" he represents. I actually agree with his smaller government, constitutional beliefs. BUT, to somehow say ignoring the rest of the world, problems go away is one of the most ignorant statements I have EVER heard. Why do Americans not understand some of our foreign policies? Easy, because like ANYTHING you view from afar, you can't understand it's value. There are foreign ideologies that mean us GREAT harm! Don't ever believe otherwise!
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I'm sorry my friend, the word "Occupy" in a military sense, or as you use it means we COMMAND the country. You'll need to look that definition up. We are BASED in many countries, and the civilian population may not like it, but I assure you the governments are damn glad that our military is there. For an example I spent a year and a half in S. Korea. I assure you that government is very glad we're there. But we don't RUN their country. That's what OCCUPY means militarily.
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Secondly, we don't OCCUPY countries we "defeated" in world war II, we are based in ALLY countries we helped WIN back from the Nazi's in World war II, to INCLUDE Germany herself. Yeah, the PEOPLE of Germany were damn glad we were able to get them past Hitler, make no mistake about that!! :) As was the rest of the world! Iran's supposed president in the 1950's was a dictator, you may want to study that more carefully. with Saddam, we made mistakes, doesn't everybody?
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - First, I have been very respectful to you in our dialogue, looking for the same back. As for the "OIL" argument, that's not the case at all. Research where America gets the majority of its oil from and you'll be amazed. It isn't Arab based countries at all. Just a very small margin. I've been accused of regurgitating FOX news, which is too funny, because all I ever get back in argument is Liberal slant which is not facts. What's your personal Middle East Experiences?
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
"What's your personal Middle East Experiences?"
Logical fallacy.
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I don't think so. I believe if someone has taken such a seriously hard stance on something they need to have irrefutable proof of its existence. There are people who have both agreed and disagreed with the war, but one finite piece of truth that seems to be a constant is that both agree the news is improperly reporting the TRUE events that happen there. So again, my question was, what is your personal experience there? its a logical gauge of your depth of the events. :)
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Again, combative. A sign that one is defending a point in which substance will not prevail. Your story has holes in it - there's no PROOF the sanctions induced the death, its is mere speculation and politically driven propaganda. Guess you're not aware of the usage of propaganda by an enemy force for position of leverage. Or mis-quotes taken out of context for the purpose of one's agenda. Maybe you should SPECIFICALLY list WHICH top official, and which news reported it.
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
How about UNICEF, from Baghdad, reported by Reuters in 2000, as I've already mentioned. Their numbers show that since the sanctions began mortality rates amongst children and the elderly increased, but you want me accept your assertions that we need to police the world because of stuff you know but can't go into details about?
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
Two UN humanitarian aid coordinators in Iraq, Hans von Sponeck and both Denis Halliday both resigned, saying that the sanctions were hurting people and strengthening Saddam.
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - UNICEF said mortality rate has increased, yet no mention of the breakdown of SPECIFICS as to what was the increase in rate of death. You see, you allowed someone to say something and because it played in with your own ideology, you simply concreted it into FACT. The MORTALITY rate, is DIRECTLY related to the famine, due to POVERTY!! Not due to SANCTIONS. They were already being "SANCTIONED" by Saddam way before America came about.. Study it, you'll see I am right
BONZAII42 3 months ago
Anupama Rao Singh, Unicef’s senior representative in Iraq: “In 1989, the literacy rate was 95%; and 93% of the population had free access to modern health facilities. The phenomenon of street children or children begging was unheard of. Iraq had reached a stage where the basic indicators we use to measure the overall well-being of human beings, including children, were some of the best in the world.
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
Now it is among the bottom 20%. In 10 years, child mortality has gone from one of the lowest in the world, to the highest."
Before sanctions, free modern healthcare, high literacy, free education, low poverty, after sanctions, total cluster fuck.

@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - who's deflecting? you keep going back to a statement I already made and confirming it... First bitching that Saddam should be removed, now Bitching about the reality it brings about. Like I said, too hot, too cold. Never satisfied yet always pretending to be the cerebral one. As soon as you publicly acknowledge that you've never made a mistake in your life, then I'll gladly listen to you cut down our country for not being perfect. Until then, all I hear is hot air moving.
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - I guess you haven't been paying attention t the overall theme of my messages, they have directly explained using ongoing worldly facts, why America must time and again police the world. Saying it's only 5% of the debt doesn't change the fact that it's money we don't have. Except for your messiah Ron Paul, his clarity is SO great that he's now the second lowest on the election poll percentages... Wake up dude, pull your head out, BREATHE.
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Again, that's not the report on the ground from the people I know directly responsible for taking care of these matters. Again, UNICEF is supposed to be a world help organization, but NO ONE doubted their intentions and they didn't attempt to hide them either. Their position on the war,and reports greatly reflected their sentiment towards the war. Like I sad before, if your boots weren't there, I can assure you, the information you hear in news, is BOGUS a hell.
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - hahaha - you keep mentioning logical fallacies which is hypocritical on your part. As if your facts are concrete. EVERYONE knows UNICEF soiled their name! The only ones who didn't care were left winged liberals who liked what they were saying. Like I keep saying, you weren't there so you haven't a clue. The men and women who were know, and so do those who still closely monitor everything there. Who by the way, laugh when they hear a news story and just shake their heads.
BONZAII42 3 months ago

@DeepCoverInsurgent - STUPID YOUTube, would let me post any links to show you the SERIOUS corruption of UNICEF!! It's ALL OVER the news!! Can't believe you don't know it. Why do you think a few years back large organizations like the Girl Scouts, YMCA and even the Salvation Army didn't give money or try and help raise money for the UNICEF? Because they were on the carpet for a LOT of corruptible events... :)

2000
BAGHDAD - A senior U.N. official said Friday about half a million children under the age of 5 have died in Iraq since the imposition of U.N. sanctions 10 years ago.
If we are not over there to project force why are we there? Why do we continue to support Saudi Arabia if we are all about helping people? Why aren't we in Africa stopping genocide? I'm not saying WW2 was a bad idea, I'm saying we shouldn't still be operating military bases there. We can't afford it.
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago

BONZAII42 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - A large part of the foreign security America does keeps us out of more wars than in them. From time to time, we do go to war. Something that we can agree to disagree on, but it is unfortunate that we live in a world where it takes the loss of life in order to have a civilized one. As for the GENOCIDE in Africa, I'm right there with you. You can thank the UN's perverted influence and the COLD climate of leaders around the world. Not just America! But YES, its a TRAVESTY!!
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
DeepCoverInsurgent 3 months ago
@DeepCoverInsurgent - Why sanctions in the first place? Let's go back to the beginning of this whole scenario and ask that question. Before WMD's, mustard gas on the Kurds in the North, before Saddam was even president, back when he was the Security Adviser before Vice President.. :) That's when America and UN began Sanctions, and it was for the same reasons. They've always poorly treated the Iraqi people. So don't blame deaths on America, it's always been that way - go back 2,000 years!!

wojovox 3 months ago
@wojovox - Well it's been very tough to find a candidate this year. I would have considered Chris Christie from New Jersey, or Bobby Jindel from Louisiana, or someone with massive appeal across both their party and moderates. In this case, Ron Paul has a very tight following of people, but unfortunately has no respect from his own party, or leaders in Washington period. The rogue cowboy approach will fail miserably and we MUST have very very strong leadership. USA is in dire need of a "Reagan"!
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@BONZAII42
I don't know what we need, but both parties, all canidates, and this country seem to be going tangent of my ideals.
wojovox 3 months ago
@wojovox -- Those who usually hate him its more political line than actually disliking. Reagan brought us one of the most powerful economic growth spurts this country has ever had. He also brought the end to the cold war by utilizing strength. But strength with open communication and respect at the same time. In fact, you should go read what President Gorbachev said about Reagan, and why he ended the cold war. That will tell you the strength of Reagan. As for our current situation (CONT)
BONZAII42 3 months ago
@wojovox - We really need serious help. Its beyond party lines and the US is so divided right now that it may take a miracle for there to ever be any reconciliation. As drastic as this sounds, it could happen - I think we could easily slide into a civil war. Not like the old one, but an incredible fallout still the same. I for one blame it on too much immigration without assimilation. Too many come here then try to change American culture. Look at Europe, that will be us tomorrow (CONT)
