I do agree Bodom's stuff has gone "downhill" since Hate Crew, and this is coming from a kid who liked Bodom before they were popular in North America. I'm not gonna touch the alcohol thing though, we all know that's true haha

Either way, the guy helped to change the face of modern metal, gotta give the guy some cred!

School isn't for everyone. But I would strongly advise you to finish at least secondary! There are some music schools that will let you graduate HS and such! While Alexi is right; just remember, not everyone ends up in a band.

you can also do a little about school in your spare time and do all the work at school and practice every hour of spare you have (so far it works fine for me i play 1 year guitar and kick me freinds arse who plays 4 years)

Well droppin out of school might not be the best idea - plus if you want a future or and maybe later a family , kids , cause i mean , today if you got no school you got nothing. And droppin school can help you go farther in ur music career.. do it , but take this in consideration - if you do that you have like 90% of failing your whole life or lose alot of years of work if your motivated enought to go back to school...

Metal is huge in Finland so it's easier to do the things as like dropping out of school when you have a strong lead and pretty much promising future even just in finland if you actually write really good music (which cob does!). Also keep in mind that when alexi dropped out that was like what 15 years ago, school has always been important but it wasnt as big of a deal then as it is nowadays. I'd say get thro highdschool and go to music college to continue the growth in your music career.COBHC

You just gotta be at the right place, at the right time with the right attitude. There are a lot of shitty bands that get way more fame then they deserve, while others that are far greater will never even play for more then 100 peepz :(

And when i say that i dont mean success as "becoming famous" honestly if that is a musicians mind set on success then they can just give up now. you dont need to drop out of school to be good on guitar. and definately dropping out of school and stuff,even if you practice like hell,wont bring you and your band to the top.i m a guitarist myself, and i did prety good as a student as well. and about the band thing, there are much more things needed than plenty of fucking time. you need the feeling for example,or the influence etc.and in my opinion,being a good artist,requires being a well educated person.
