Those (Magnatone) Tonemaster amps are amazing, its convinced me to build a reproduction amp based on that circuit. Its a mystery why these aren't more popular, though Phil X seems to be spreading the word pretty well.

by the way, i already saw this kind of all rosewood neck,but on a telecaster, George Harrison used a telecaster all rosewood made,neck,body,it was sent to him as a prototype,from fender shop.you can see it on many videos and on the beatles rooftop concert in 69.the guitar was heavy in weight and sounded fantastic.

what are peoples settings where they get that little overdrive that sounds good on all pick ups?

i cant ifgure it out

It depends on the amp. Every amp that we've been

using for overdrive has been set on 10. They're usually

10-15 watt tube amps. For higher watt amps like a 100

watt Marshall, I usually start with everything @ 12:00. Then if the sound needs a little tweaking, u can add and/or take away.
