This is by far the best "Real life superhero". He doesn't have a corny name, he doesn't dress up, and he doesn't go out and fight crime. He helps people in need! To me? That is a hero.
@TurboGnarly 1) Yes, he is dressed up. That is not a bad thing. It raises awareness, because anyone who's watched superheroes as a kid can relate to it.
2) A corny name, while corny, doesn't damage the ability of the hero and his/her impact. Maybe a few narrowminded people are more privy to ignoring them, but I don't think anyone's that ignorant…
3) The ones who fight crime are risking their life. That is a hero. So is this guy, but you can't deny the crime fighters are also heroes.
I love this whole concept. I noticed some people dont get why you use the superhero image.., but I think its cool AND gives children hope. And face it, when a person is homeless they feel helpless almost as a child would. Bravo!
@J0kerfan66 - no a person doesnt need a mask to help the homeless - BUT the whole Superhero or Hero image brings more attention to Homelessness than most other organizations, AND it gives children of homeless family hope! So far, as it has been, Homelessness is still on the rise - so this man and other's "different approach" certainly can not hurt the cause at all. Hopefully it helps at least a little more - every little bit forward no matter how small, helps.

These men are not only heroes but they are sybols of pure hearted men and women that wish to do good and improve there city by doing the best they can to save the people that live in that city. Some give to homeless and some stop crime but the easiest and in my opinion the best way to be a hero is "random acts of kindness".
i found the whole rlsh thing hillarious, just the thought of a guy in a silly costume getting his ass systematically kicked every night. However, i see most of them are mainly into helping the homeless and other sorts of charity, i guess their heart is in the right place. i kinda like theese guys, they're like a lovely comedy character
