A maroon is the English equivalent of a salute.
The one in this video is not actually a maroon it was a very old 12" shell that just went bang rather loud, so it was nicknamed the 12" maroon

in america class c is consumer use which is what the regular people use and class b is what the pros fire. but u need a permit in the U.S 2 fire class b

the tube was too long for the 12" it went way too high, it had to be used last minute as the other got damaged
