MK3 is one of the best fighting games ever created, both visually and gameplay-wise. I loved the sprites, it worked fantastically in a 2D fighting game, the first time I saw MK3 as a kid I was blown away! I remember it to this day, it was Jax vs somebody on on the above Metro level. Gameplay is superfast paced and and what's important deep with LOTS of moves for each character, and finally the way punches and kicks land in this game feels awesome! MK3/UMK3/MKT are the last and the best MK games.

i came across this video actually looking at the new MK combos. This is real MK. i dunno whats going on in the new MK but the testers messed up big time. frame glitches, huge glitch repeat combos. full of no skill spammers and glitch/lag users. now before u say anything negative I destroy online! but when someone does a kunglao, cyrax, noob, and a few others cheap ass unblockable traps u just have to take the lose and move on. it sucks and hope ed boon gets slapped around and does patches.

@Mjj535 there is a cheat to turn smoke the robot into human smoke....I used to do it with my SNES back then ...man this game was the real deal and so KI.

@Mjj535 man back in the days after you picked Smoke the robot you were supposed to do a cheat by holding down some of the buttons, on my SNES controller I think it was something like LR DOWN and START until the game starts and then smoke will turn into the ninja smoke, something like that. This games had so many cheats you have no idea. Great game man , a great game. I remember one in which Kitana will turn into a those fans she uses, and another for Kung Lao.

when you pick smoke, hold BACK, Run, Block, HP, and HK until he transforms. Depending on the console i cant tell you which buttons correspond to which, but thats how its done

No doubt. I play regularly on XBL and the Nightwolf / Human Smoke / Kabal spam gets a bit old. I enjoy random-select and fighting people who do the same, it's more fun that way, or if you're going to pick at least mix it up a little and don't use the same 3 chars over and over. I mean for tournaments or something I can understand it but in casual play it gets so old.
