Its all about whether you have taste or not isnt it. The only guy in my quiet unfussed film critic life that made me say, "This must be a dino production! How fashionable, how classy" And when i check the credits it him! :)

simply amazing...great scenes! those in there are great movies and you guys certainly knows how to mixed it into one great video! love the ending! brilliant! we always admire your works guys! :D
@CelebrityWonderVids For all those seeking entrance to the kingdom of heaven, I would urge you to buy at least one of this producer's movies. I bought my personal favorite, Hannibal Rising -- starring the inimitable Anthony Hopkins. For extra insurance, at least watch Roberto Rossellini's movie The Flowers of Saint Francis.
What an excellent body of work...some of these gems I have not viewed in many years...Year of the Dragon, Conan, Flash Gordon...and some are standards around my house...Death Wish, Blue Velvet

Very nice page of Movie History! Wonderful scenes. Beautiful and awesome video! I simply love The Serpent's Egg! De Laurentis was a great Irving Thalberg and the husband of Silvana Mangano - he has a Goddes is his hands... Thanks for the pleasure you gave me.
@augustomariante This is so entertaining and inspiring. Movies should be made from movie clips. Lately, that's what my dreams have become -- movies of movie clips. With soundtracks, mostly The Song That Doesn't End from Lamb Chop. Cheerio, chop-chop.
The music is a real source of energy and relaxation and the images are really impressive, bringing out the beauty of Dino de Laurentiis movies. Wonderful creation and great work Rick.
De Laurentiis' career was outstanding! From his work in Italy until his last in '07. Aside from all the films that he made in Italy, "The Serpent's Egg" w/Bergman, as well as "Serpico" & "Ragtime" stand out for me. (Yet there are so many!). This was great, Rick! Very well edited and inclusive. 5***'s
EXCELLENT. This is my favorite of all of yours. Incredible producer of so many diverse and wonderful films. BARBARELLA, MANDINGO, BLUE VELVET, KING KONG, FLASH GORDON, ROMEO AND JULIET and so many others. GOOD WORK
Beautiful.Simply beautiful. And Nessun Dorma as one of the most beautiful arias ever written was a perfect choice as soundtrack.
I read Irvin Kershner and Leslie Nilsen died a few days ago, too. What a pitty. The first one directed my favourite movie and the second one was a decent actor and comedian.
@DrGull1888 Hey, I dedicate this to you for inspiring it; had meant to do it earlier. Thanks for asking me to do it. What's your favorite movie? I just watched Kerschner's "Loving" last night in memory to him. What a powerful film!
@billysscreeningroom2 Thanks a lot. I'm flattered and honoured too. But to be true I just asked if you are toying with the idea of doing a tribute. Nevertheless thanks a lot.
It might sound like a cliché but my favourite movie is "The Empire Strikes Back". It's so dark with aesthetic pictures, great effects and moody music. But "Loving" is also great. I like Sterling Hayden's character. He is perfect as tuff business man. I also like "Ride on Entebbe" and "The Flim-Flam Man"
@DrGull1888 Aw, stupid me. I meant "Raid on Entebbe". Yaphet Kotto is too droll as his Excellency President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada.
I hadn't known that Flash Gordon was a Dino De Laurentis film. I love that film in a guilty pleasure sort of way...... ( No offense to Mr. De Laurentis...) !
Wow, how ignorant I am. I didn't know that La Strade, the awesome movie of Federico Felini had been produced by Dino de Lauentiis. Well, always it is time to learn, better late than never. Super video.
What a great tribute to Mr. De Laurentiis, Rick! An amazing and long career of success. In the U.S., has made a fundamental contribution to cinema! I really like this video and hear the voice of Luciano Pavarotti makes it exciting! The finale, with Hannibal Lecter in "The Silence of the Lambs" is great!
@TheBigValley Thank you. It's actually Mario Lanza because the copyright to the Pavarotti is owned by, of all entities, the World Cop Organization. Thanks again.
@TheBigValley Dino had nothing to do with "Silence of the Lambs" in fact he passed on it, he did produce it's sequels though, and Michael Mann's "Manhunter"
