I would really apreciate your time for doing that and will be most thankfull!!! cheerz!
Yeah I bought the same RR5 with EMGS installed, this guitar with those EMGS got sustain for days, I just put that same Marshall JvM on layaway, hope it sounds good with my genz benz G Flex cab.
Hi guys, I'm selling this guitar in the black finish, Literally perfect condition and the hardshell case is included... I bought it about 2 months ago for £1017 and i'm selling it for £900. UK shipping only, If interested please send me a message
Hmmm i like what you played! Dimebag's live solo he would play during his glam days, you also played and excersize from speed machanics for lead guitar, and the little intro to the main riff of am i evil! nice man i like it!
You must have it on some shitty settings, my Marshall MG100 sounds better than this one, but I know JVM is way better than the MG series. Obviously big price difference, so it'd better be better.
Dude i really liked your guitar but i got a few question.. first of all.. how much does it cost.. and second.. that same model is on sale with floyd rose..?
Awesome guitar man, I'm doubting to buy one of those myself. Currently in possession of the just as awesome Jackson RR24M, which is a beast at metal, but another A-class RR model (this time without trem, to practice with different tunings) would be most welcome. How are your experiences with this guitar? Is it a def. recommendation?
@Aartsbok .. Well it's an amazing guitar, though somewhat unruly at times. The design is making the head tilt a little, so if you don't hold it by the neck, it will slowly descend... The fretboard is flat, and not curved, like on a gibson or other, which makes it easy to do some routines, but a little more difficult at other routines... The design also makes it very easy to play up to the 22th fret (max). When compared to a Les Paul, the sound is somewhat more flat. Other than that, it's AWSOME!
@Aartsbok If it helps any to get another opinion I've got a RR5 and I love it. It plays great and sounds great for metal/rock type its really second to none. The only problem I had with it were the pickups were very hot and very limited to metal/rock lol I ended getting an LP as my main guitar but I still use my RR5 as backup or for heavier songs. All in all though aside from that I can say enough good about it. In my experience it looks awsome plays awsome. Hope this helps man!
fantastic guitar, i have the floyd rose one. The only thing that is annoying I guess is the pickup switch that is between 2 knobs, and is tricky to switch very quickly... don't you agree?
@undrapeaunoir it hasn't really occured to me since I really never switch it during songs, but you are probably right ;) But compared to my gibson it is closer at hand, at ought to be easier and thus quicker to use.
@DoctorJensen maybe with the fixed bridge it's half the problem. for FR the tremolo arm adds as an obstacle. Of course depends on how you use it, but I play iron maiden a lot, and they switch a lot quickly during solos.
Anyway, again it's a fantastic guitar ! Keep rocking!
@xexsnowblindxex Its not the color I want anyway, and I would just get a brand new one anyway because I essentially can say its mine and always has been mine. xD As well know if there's somethign wrong with it, its probably my fault anyway. lol
@Brownwolfy Haha you have some wonderful point there. i have a Jackson js30 and im really satisfied with it. which makes sorta want to get one of they better models because if mine (which is pretty cheap) can be that good. i wonder how good one liek this would be
@xexsnowblindxex I played a JS30 of JS32 before, it was okay for the low quality of it. But I like the feel of the RR5 a lot more, the plus side is that its neck through body instead of bolt on and the finish of the neck makes it a lot smoother. I just want the RR5 for body style and because of the Trans Black finish, which I found out they don't make the RR5's in anymore. If I want a Rhoads in that finish I have to get the RR1T USA Series, which is double the price and bolt on neck.
@SpeedbeetleV2 the RR5 is well-balanced but takes a little time to get used to. If you want a guitar that you can practice with while sitting, this is obviously not the best guitar, but otherwise it's fantastic and well worth the buy :) Hope that answers your question.
@DoctorJensen "If you want a guitar that you can practice with while sitting, this is obviously not the best guitar" - You are wrong and I will have to disagree on that
ya man love the rr5 i have the same ax it took me years to find the ax that fits me completeley but ya man im thinkin about buyin the black and gold one next to keep for different tuneings
I wanted to save up for an amp like a little half stack, and my parents are getting this amp for me I think... I was kinda stunned. I almost feel the NEEED to save up for it... I said to my dad that I could work for the speakers but he decided to look at the fucking full stuck lol. But if I get this, I have one pact. To never get another amp again. If anything, just save up for speakers for this thing. If this is that versatile, and if it's expensive, Screw it. I am not going to bother!
now that you have a super expensive/fuckin badass setup, invest in some recording gear. caus all that beautiful tone you hear in that room is lost.......
online i found an offset v like this for 300$ set neck and emgs off brand but very nice i would much rather have an rr5 though msg me if u want the name
I personally didnt like the RR5 version of the randy rhodes model jacksons... Idk if it was because the strings were old but i didnt like how high the strings are off the body, im used to floyd's. =)
I HATE EMG's they have NO organic feel to them. I can't hear any of the guitar's natural tone. But with Passive Pickups like Dimarzios and duncans I can hear the tonal diiferences of each guitar they are in.

Well.. A little history here :) It's a track by Quiet Riot, called Battle Axe, which I practiced years ago, and then forgot all about, as well as the RR solo from the Tribute album... Then I earned some money and spend them all on the guitar and the Marshall rack, and first day.. I felt the urge to record something on my camera (hence the bad sound), and this came to mind.. and haven't been played since, soo it's flawed! but spontaneous! :) There you go. The full story :)
coudln't be more wrong. your bends are all off pitch. most go sharp but a few flat, your timing is very uneven, and your playing is generally noisy and imprecise.
Go to a guitar store and play them if you can and before you plug either one in you'll want to play it and listen to the differences in the resonence that are between the two. Believe it or not it makes a difference in what your getting for tone out of it. Good luck.
I can totally reccomend it, though of course it depends on the styles you're playing. There's a lot of great amps out there, just waiting to be used :D
i say a ninja cus you are lucky as hell to find that guitar(thats not on ebay). they both are great. i own a rr5. im waiting for a esp ninja v till the holidays
Well the best advise that I can give you is going to your local guitarshop, and try them (and other guitars in that pricearea), since one thing is the look of the guitar, and the other thing is how it feels when playing it, and how it sounds. I think the last two are the most important, and thus it is a very good idea to try a guitar before buying it.. Hope it helps :)
Hmmm. I don't really remember anymore. The footage is from the first week of purchasing the Marshall, but I guess that I just turned the Gain on Full and Treble/Midtone to about 7-8 (and bass a little lower).... But that's a guess. :)
That depends what kind of metalsound you want. If using the JVM410H alone, adjusting the gain down to 2-4 wil give you a cleaner tone suited for metal solos, while turning it way up to 10 gives it a fuzzy hardcore style. The Treble/Mid/Bass can be adjusted also to slim/fatten the tone in different areas... Otherwise turn the gain down and get a booster pedal or EQ pedal.. The possibilities are endless :)
this "stuffmuffins" kids real name is Ian Griffith and hes lives in Valencia, California. his address is 27561 Chesshire Lane. he likes to occaisonlly get high, but mostly he focuses on his guitar and his new summer job at Robeks. unfortunately he will never pay for weed and hes homo. i am playin GoW 2 with him right now and im high too. hahahahahaah
Hey, nice music. I was wondering how the RR5 played because im gettin one for christmas. I've tried it out in the store but i couldnt get full use of it because i only had 5 minutes allowed and mostly was getting used to the guitar itself. So if you got the time to reply, just try and tell me how its Seymour Duncans respong to different styles please. (:
I've tried a few good guitars and there are guitars that are better to play, because they are of better quality, but the RR5 is definitivly high quality, and sounds great. It is a little difficult to sit with, so that limits it's use a little. I think the SD pickups are sounding great no matter what style, but I don't have that much experience in the 1000 different pickups out there, so I'm probably not the right one to ask.
Honestly its just hate, i've played both (i own a JVM) and the jvm does have as much balls IF used properly an 800 you turn it up and bam, balls. but the jvm has lots of gains and volumes so if you say, crank the channel volumes and turn up the master volume you have a screaming amazing tone (i just discovered the balls of CLEAN channel on RED mode today, fuckin' BLISTERING!)
i had the same guitar cost me 12 hundred bucks man at guitar villa...and it was a horrible guitar....no wicked sounds ever could be pulled out of that. ...NICE PLAYING THO MAN..get yourself a minirik...
Well that's very subjective, but personally I would rate it with 10 out of 10, because it kicks ass, sounds like a million and looks awasome.. But that's what I think, and people may have different oppinions about that depending on playing style, music preference and a lot of other things. Head down to your local musicstore and try it out. You won't be disapointed :)
Hmmm. I don't know. I have to try that one out. The Mesa production is very famous in the old British Metal Wave, so I should think that it can rock your socks off as well. But I must try that one when I get the chance... Down to the local musicshop tomorrow :)
The JVM410 series have a very clean sound, that you can put any effectpedals through, and it has the most heavy distortion sound that exists and everything in between, so I can use it for classic rock, blues, jazz, rock'n'roll and heavy, with slightly different modes, but of course any other effect than distortion and chorus, you have to buy as pedals seperately :) Hope that answers your question :)
No. It requires a little adjustment in the beginning (not adjusting the guitar, but the position that you're in when playing), because you have to have the minor arc between your legs for stability, otherwise the guitar slides off due to the angle of the body. ok?
its when you cant desipher the pitch of something. Like this guy might hear two notes, lets say an E note and a G note, he wont be able to tell the difference between the notes
Hell! I'm not aiming to please everyone, and I don't know any music that does so. I'm not Steve Vai og Mark Knopfler and have never pretended to be so ;) But yeah it's an awesome guitar.. and I like it very much :)
Itis absolutely my number one favourite guitar brand, and has beenso for like 15-20 years. But I also like other guitars as well, life is too short for only one brand :) he he. But I would hightly recommend it! It is absolutely fantastic to play, and it is definitivly not my last Jackson Guitar :D
So if you want to purchaseit, I can only give you it's very best regards..
For myself, my next guitar will probably be the Gibson Robot guitar, since I am too lazy to detune my guitar all the time, and it is nice that there finally are a guitar which will do the dirty job for you :D ha ha..
BTW.. If you want it equipped with FR, then buy the RR5FR model, but then again you lose the gold plating :(.. Cheers.
Tjek out the Marshall website for specifications. I'm not a tech geek, but it can play REALLY LOUD! haha.
Were to get it? I don't know where you live, but I would strongly suggest your local instrument supplier/shop :) But unfortunately it is a bit expensive :(

No offence man but if you have shitty sound quality than we cant hear the true sound.
My Crate combo sounds better it seems

dude..you dont deserve that guitar or amp
xLesPaulGibsonx 2 years ago
well judging by your videos, neither do you.
GamingPerson123 2 years ago 9
actaully i tihnk i do... every video on there i played the song 100% perfect note wise
xLesPaulGibsonx 2 years ago
coudln't be more wrong. your bends are all off pitch. most go sharp but a few flat, your timing is very uneven, and your playing is generally noisy and imprecise.
littlegoobie 2 years ago 2
this is directed at xLesPaulGibsonx, not DrJensen
littlegoobie 2 years ago
well i wasnt using a metronome or back track like you pussy, and dude you couldnt do even better
xLesPaulGibsonx 2 years ago
You shoulden't need to use a metronome, and if you think that then he's definatly right about you not deserving the guitar either.
Also, where does a deserveing factor come into it, he has more money than you, stop being so butt hurt about it.
Gameglitcha 2 years ago
Ummm... no, you don't. And even if you did, if you can't phrase it right then whether or not you hit the notes is irrelevant.

If he worked for it and bought it, he deserves it.

awesome playing and awesome guitar!
i saw it at my local guitar shop
how much is it?
TheMetalGuy01 2 years ago
Around 2600,- USD in DK. So I guess it would be a little cheaper most other places in the world ;)
DoctorJensen 2 years ago
Go to a guitar store and play them if you can and before you plug either one in you'll want to play it and listen to the differences in the resonence that are between the two. Believe it or not it makes a difference in what your getting for tone out of it. Good luck.

YES! YES YES YES!
This is crazy. I've had my RR5 for about 2 years now, and I think i'm picking up this Marshall tomorrow... recommend it?
xkingd117x 2 years ago
I can totally reccomend it, though of course it depends on the styles you're playing. There's a lot of great amps out there, just waiting to be used :D
DoctorJensen 2 years ago
man, this makes me miss my marshall...i need 2 get it back from my buddy's house

Hehe Thanx and yes.. chromatic runs are underestimated :)
DoctorJensen 2 years ago
your the best shredder ive seen on here in awhile!
Jrage12 2 years ago
Well the best advise that I can give you is going to your local guitarshop, and try them (and other guitars in that pricearea), since one thing is the look of the guitar, and the other thing is how it feels when playing it, and how it sounds. I think the last two are the most important, and thus it is a very good idea to try a guitar before buying it.. Hope it helps :)
DoctorJensen 2 years ago
awsome sound! what settings you using?
bombsquadrecords 2 years ago
Hmmm. I don't really remember anymore. The footage is from the first week of purchasing the Marshall, but I guess that I just turned the Gain on Full and Treble/Midtone to about 7-8 (and bass a little lower).... But that's a guess. :)
DoctorJensen 2 years ago
oh oke, thanks! i love your tone. i have my jvm410h for more than a year now, great amp but i cant find a good metal tone.
bombsquadrecords 2 years ago
That depends what kind of metalsound you want. If using the JVM410H alone, adjusting the gain down to 2-4 wil give you a cleaner tone suited for metal solos, while turning it way up to 10 gives it a fuzzy hardcore style. The Treble/Mid/Bass can be adjusted also to slim/fatten the tone in different areas... Otherwise turn the gain down and get a booster pedal or EQ pedal.. The possibilities are endless :)
DoctorJensen 2 years ago
yeh, i put the gain around 6-7 for od 2 red for my lead and the gain around 5 for od 1 red for rythm channel

iLemon36 2 years ago
I've tried a few good guitars and there are guitars that are better to play, because they are of better quality, but the RR5 is definitivly high quality, and sounds great. It is a little difficult to sit with, so that limits it's use a little. I think the SD pickups are sounding great no matter what style, but I don't have that much experience in the 1000 different pickups out there, so I'm probably not the right one to ask.

i've heard the JVM doesn't have as much balls (omph) as a JCM 800. is that true or just people hating?
ARKITOOTHUS 2 years ago
It wouldn't be the same, but the JVM sounds like it still has alot of balls. The JVM would be the best of the new amps imo.
J3sst44 2 years ago
Honestly its just hate, i've played both (i own a JVM) and the jvm does have as much balls IF used properly an 800 you turn it up and bam, balls. but the jvm has lots of gains and volumes so if you say, crank the channel volumes and turn up the master volume you have a screaming amazing tone (i just discovered the balls of CLEAN channel on RED mode today, fuckin' BLISTERING!)

If you would need to say how good this amp is from 0(the worst) to 10(the best) what would your raite be?
TheMetalPolice 3 years ago
Well that's very subjective, but personally I would rate it with 10 out of 10, because it kicks ass, sounds like a million and looks awasome.. But that's what I think, and people may have different oppinions about that depending on playing style, music preference and a lot of other things. Head down to your local musicstore and try it out. You won't be disapointed :)
DoctorJensen 3 years ago
ummm jvm 410h? thats like one of the best heads in the world, period. and i HATE marshall, doesnt change the fact that that setup kicks ass
solodude45 3 years ago
How does it compare to a Mesa Stilleto??
toyoubecritic1 3 years ago
Hmmm. I don't know. I have to try that one out. The Mesa production is very famous in the old British Metal Wave, so I should think that it can rock your socks off as well. But I must try that one when I get the chance... Down to the local musicshop tomorrow :)
DoctorJensen 3 years ago
Can you play almost any music style whit this amp?
TheMetalPolice 3 years ago
The JVM410 series have a very clean sound, that you can put any effectpedals through, and it has the most heavy distortion sound that exists and everything in between, so I can use it for classic rock, blues, jazz, rock'n'roll and heavy, with slightly different modes, but of course any other effect than distortion and chorus, you have to buy as pedals seperately :) Hope that answers your question :)
DoctorJensen 3 years ago
is it hard to sit down with because i dont like to stand unless i have to when im playing guitar
peligrojandro95 3 years ago
No. It requires a little adjustment in the beginning (not adjusting the guitar, but the position that you're in when playing), because you have to have the minor arc between your legs for stability, otherwise the guitar slides off due to the angle of the body. ok?
DoctorJensen 3 years ago
well its, the endind is randy rhoads solo spot from the album tribute

whats tone deaf mean?

its when you cant desipher the pitch of something. Like this guy might hear two notes, lets say an E note and a G note, he wont be able to tell the difference between the notes

DoctorJensen 3 years ago
hey man thank for the vid
its good to see somebody with a beautiful guitar that can actually play it
lol
what do you think of this guitar
because i have a jackson(the white one with a maple neck)
and i love everything about it
for my next guitar i want to stick with jackson and i think i am going to go with this model
what do you think???
pengull 3 years ago
Itis absolutely my number one favourite guitar brand, and has beenso for like 15-20 years. But I also like other guitars as well, life is too short for only one brand :) he he. But I would hightly recommend it! It is absolutely fantastic to play, and it is definitivly not my last Jackson Guitar :D
So if you want to purchaseit, I can only give you it's very best regards..
DoctorJensen 3 years ago
For myself, my next guitar will probably be the Gibson Robot guitar, since I am too lazy to detune my guitar all the time, and it is nice that there finally are a guitar which will do the dirty job for you :D ha ha..
BTW.. If you want it equipped with FR, then buy the RR5FR model, but then again you lose the gold plating :(.. Cheers.

how many watts is this and wear can i get it
jtr10411 3 years ago
Tjek out the Marshall website for specifications. I'm not a tech geek, but it can play REALLY LOUD! haha.
Were to get it? I don't know where you live, but I would strongly suggest your local instrument supplier/shop :) But unfortunately it is a bit expensive :(
