Yes, Mort Herbert on bass, "the young lawyer" as Louis called him (he was really a lawyer).

I suggest to listen to some of his solos on Louis' CD's or DVD's (for example "Love Is Just Around The Corner", recorded during a concert Belgium, 1959), they are great.

Great performance although my favorite rendition of Pops doing The Tiger Rag is that video that dates from the early 1930s that YouTube keeps yanking all the time.
