@bakonlicious there are no plans for this plane. Please click on the video play list in the video information bar for step by step build instructions on this plane. Be sure to check the other links in the other videos in the information bar.
Nice Plane man! That's what i call "Bulletproof"! Fatal crash, but no problem at all! What was the problem with the TX? Signal lost, or low voltage cutoff?
@Huebel01 I'm thinking it was low voltage cutout. Spectrum receivers are bad for this. They will shut down if the voltage drops below 3.5v The motor may be sucking enough juice to cause the bec to drop that low.
Great delta plane.. I would love to own one. Well you guys have the drawing plan on this? Where can i get it from or could you email me to e_lavori@yahoo.com. Than kyou. Cheers ;)
Brannister If you follow the build series on this plane you should be able to build the plane without plans. The series takes you step by step on how to build this plane completely from scratch.click on the play list in the video information bar and start with the very first video and just follow along.
Thanks a lot Dick you don't know how much that means to me. This plane wouldn't fly as great as it does if it weren't for you giving us all the KF airfoil which makes these planes fly so awesome!!
Now That was really fast !!! WOW...and a real rough landing as well, I am surprised to see that it survived. Not that I have any doubts about your craftsmanship, but it came down very fast. I love it, and I think that I can finish my plane In a few weeks from now. Would love to see the radar gun pointed at that insAne plane of yours, My guess is that it exceeds a 100 mph at ease, maybe 120 mph? or should I say 0.16 Machs :-) I wonder when 0.20 Machs will be reached...? :-)
insAneTunA thanks for the great comments!! I hope you post some video of your plane once you finish it and get it in the air. I would love to see your version of this awesome flying plane!!! As for the speed I should be able to get some radar passes as soon as I get my new batteries.
Well looks like the plane fly's well, even with out the rear plate. Look's very manuverable as well. Good job on this one as always Humphrey. And tell Thom that I said nice job with the camera. She's getting better at filming. ;)
Thanks Mike! The plane flew ok without the rear plate once I turned down the rates on the elevator. But man was it squirrely before that. I think that was Thom's best filming yet. she even had the zoom going pretty good!!
frank, i wish you would've shown the battery after that impact, what a testament to the durability of that epp and your weave technique. i'm half way through with a flying wing of my own based on yours. and its got that 2700kv on it, hehe.
Awesome idea Brandon!! I'll put them in the next video when I go over how to fix the radio lock out problem. Can't wait to see your new Delta wing fly. Hope you're ready for some serious speed with that motor!!!!
wildhover I put a link to this motor in the sidebar if you want to check it out. I love the extra trust this one puts out. I turns a 6x5.5 prop with no problems. I'm running it on 3cell batteries but it can also take 4 cells. That would be some insane speed!!!
I checked out the link and thought that this motor may be waaay too much for my little flying field but just couldn't resist after watching this video again. Now to figure out which plane to build for it to go into.
Thanks Skydive4ever!! I too have a DX6i and love it!! I didn't have any problems with it until just recently. Have you ever had the receiver lock out or anything that would cause total shut down?
Nope (knock on wood, hehehe), I have three kinds of receivers (ar6200, 6100 and 6100e ) on many planes ans helis plus a couple of BNF, and i've never lost signal.......yet......
Thanks RCFLIGHTHELP! I it's definitely the receiver but I'm still not sure what is causing it. I don't think it's the motor or ESC because I changed them both and it still happened. I don't think its the batteries because these are Rhino 30c and they hold the voltage all the way to the end and this happens before that.
The vertical climb on that is mad man really is fast and just eat up the sky ;-) i had the same thing happen to me a couple of times with my stryker, were i had no control over the plane and it was down to my spektrum ar6100e RX as i never had the two little aerials sticking outside the plane, after putting them outside it worked ok,just thought you might want to check that out but can't remember what RX you have in,anyways great video=5*
startazz ,The vertical is insane with this new motor! Thanks for the suggestion on the aerials. I was thinking about making them a little longer too but I'm not sure if they have to be a certain length or not. What do you think? I might just try it , what could it hurt.
rctestflight I just put two more links in the side bar. One is to the motor the other is for the ESC. Don't forget to check out the reviews on their site at the bottom of the page to see how other people rate their stuff.

This plane was born to fly. Fantastic work, Frank. I'm so pleased by the way this aircraft performs. You''ve done an amazing job with this build.

Cool video! How did you make those awesome effects?

Alex we use Sony Vegas to do all our editing. It works great with green screen effects. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Yah, 2.4 is the way to go, I have two Spectrum DX6i's and I love them.
Hahaha the first half, If I had a dollar for every newbie question...
Is this really 'tailless'? Those winglets on the top that can act as vertical stabiliser, no?
Awesome vids man :-)

I forgot where I was reading but it gave all the problems with Spektrum Receivers , it was a long list.
Hopefully it will not happen to either of us again.
