How come Lord of the Rings wins 4 oscars and Harry Potter doesn't even get nominated? I mean, there were 3 Lord of the Rings, but 8 Harry Potters. And it lasted much longer. What's wrong with this world..

There wouldn't be enough awards. It's just above awards. Its prestige. As long as all Potterheads are behind Harry Potter and will always be there, awards are worthless.

I feel like I'm the only one who found the scene when the Trio were standing at the bridge, for the final time really emotional. I feel like nobody else could have felt all the waves of emotions that came over me when I first saw this and when I look back at that scene. The music that went this it was truly beautiful. So moving and I have never felt a feeling before quite like it.
I found that, with the movies, from probably the fourth they began to go downhill and lost alot of their charm that the first two had.... but with that said the last one rounded it all off quite nicley
All in all this would have been a good film, if David Yates hadn't sucked! So many important parts, left out. The one scene that got me, Fred's Death, left out. That Bloody Bitch!

I wish the showed Hogwarts after the epilogue just the way did it in the Philosopher's Stone. That would have been so fitting. And I would have preferred the use of "Harry's Wondrous World" for the credit rather than Hedwig's Theme.

as i was just listening to this truly incredible piece of music, i found myself looking at a page on MSN.com showing celebrity pictures of 2011. I went further down to find my wish of what was there...i found it: Daniel, Rupert, and Emma next to eachother at the last premiere of a Harry Potter film, deathly hallows p2. :) gaww....how much we will miss them i bet the trio dont know half of it..maybe. lol
The second time i saw this movie, it was this soundtrack song that i began to ball tears because it was truly the end of the fantastic journey undertaken for TEN years. This is one of the greatest movies made in a long time, and one of the best ive ever seen. Harry Potter is the best Saga of films in our time...sorry Star Wars, but you ve been beaten eventhough i love star wars as well.
The epilogue is not as good as it should have been. There should have been more interaction with the characters, including the new potter/weasley children and they should have shown teddy!
And to think.... This amazing, world-wide phenominon started as ideas on the napkins of a local cafe... All incredible things start off small, and this amazing book proves it. Thank you JK Rowling!

I didn't like how he disposed of the wand in the movie. in the book he used the Elder Wand to repair his own wand, and then replaced the Elder Wand back in Dumbledore's grave. in the movie he snapped the Elder Wand in half, threw it off the edge of a bridge and kept Draco's wand. Book ending was definitely better
the moment when harry hermonie and ron where standing together holding hands, it was just such an amazing scene, they went through some much together and we were the generation lucky enough to watch their journey, thank you JK Rowling for the adventure of a lifetime. It's painful to think that after all this time and all this magic, Harry Potter has ended. Even thinking about the epilogue makes me sad, knowing that they are not the adventurous kids we grew up with any more. Every time i hear this soundtrack it makes me so emotional but i love it so much.

im in my final year at school. In May (We get 1-2 month's study leave until the final exams) i will leave all my friends, some who i have only met since i started high school, others i have known since I was 4. It Was Draco who disarmed Dumbledore that night in the Astronomy Tower. From that moment on, the wand answered to him... Until, the other night, when i disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor.
Im not the biggest reader and forget moives after awile. But harry potter was different and now that its over i feel like it was a chapter of my life.
I love this soundtrack, except for the fact the there was almost no part where the original Harry Potter theme was played. I was pretty dissapointed that they used "The Kiss" from Order of The Pheonix in this song, instead of the original theme. At least they put it in when Harry's kids left for Hogwarts.
One thing that annoyed me about the ending: why didn't Harry repair his original wand with the Elder Wand? That was one of my favorite scenes from the book!

Uh no.
- The acting wasn't that great.
- It had nothing unique to it. The wand battles felt like laser gun and beam battles.
- The final battle with Voldemort was horrible. Too quick, too boring and not enough variety on the spells used.
- No one thanks Harry.
- The final scene was the cheesiest scene ever.
The last 3 films are horrible, and the director was obviously looking for money.

as i was just listening to this truly incredible piece of music, i found myself looking at a page on MSN.com showing celebrity pictures of 2011. I went further down to find my wish of what was there...i found it: Daniel, Rupert, and Emma next to eachother at the last premiere of a Harry Potter film, deathly hallows p2. :) gaww....how much we will miss them i bet the trio dont know half of it..maybe. lol

The second time i saw this movie, it was this soundtrack song that i began to ball tears because it was truly the end of the fantastic journey undertaken for TEN years. This is one of the greatest movies made in a long time, and one of the best ive ever seen. Harry Potter is the best Saga of films in our time...sorry Star Wars, but you ve been beaten eventhough i love star wars as well.

The epilogue is not as good as it should have been. There should have been more interaction with the characters, including the new potter/weasley children and they should have shown teddy!

I didn't like how he disposed of the wand in the movie. in the book he used the Elder Wand to repair his own wand, and then replaced the Elder Wand back in Dumbledore's grave. in the movie he snapped the Elder Wand in half, threw it off the edge of a bridge and kept Draco's wand. Book ending was definitely better

the moment when harry hermonie and ron where standing together holding hands, it was just such an amazing scene, they went through some much together and we were the generation lucky enough to watch their journey, thank you JK Rowling for the adventure of a lifetime. This soundtrack goes beyond my soul , and beyond my heart and mind...and just give a BIG peace, just like when you know that everything is over, and the darkest fear is gonne, you just want to cry of happyness and joy.. in only 1:40 i can feel all that inside of my heart.
Harry Potter was a good history, in his honor before seeong this movie, i saw all the entire saga.

It's painful to think that after all this time and all this magic, Harry Potter has ended. Even thinking about the epilogue makes me sad, knowing that they are not the adventurous kids we grew up with any more. Every time i hear this soundtrack it makes me so emotional but i love it so much.

Was anyone else a bit disappointed when he didn't fix his wand with the Elder Wand before destroying it? I do wish that scene was there. It showed how attached Harry was to his wand which had been with him for so long. It was a friend to him.

Man,I'm leaving behind my high school there,and simply,its been hell. I've had ALOT of crazy experiences and dealt with alot of stuff most people my age cant even imagine..but through the past 4 years,I've made some lifechanging friends. Its...weird...I think the draw of harry potter is the coming of age story, and the whole "even a weakling can triumph in the end" thing. Thats kinda what i feel like now. And when i graduate,ill play this on my iPod..

im in my final year at school. In May (We get 1-2 month's study leave until the final exams) i will leave all my friends, some who i have only met since i started high school, others i have known since I was 4. I am nearly 16. and its not just my friends, but everyone that has made my life what it is today, whether it be friend or aquaintance, all i know is that May will truly be.... my 'New beginning' and this music will play through my head as i leave for the last time. It Was Draco who disarmed Dumbledore that night in the Astronomy Tower. From that moment on, the wand answered to him... Until, the other night, when i disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor.

i saw every harry potter movie the day they were released
i got every soundtrack the day they were being sold
i went to every book signing i could possibly go to
i went to the wizarding world of harry potter the day it was opened
i went to the london premiere of harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 (even tho i live in NY)
i did all that i could to show my appretiation of this series
and now im all that i can to say goodbye =(

I love this soundtrack, except for the fact the there was almost no part where the original Harry Potter theme was played. I was pretty dissapointed that they used "The Kiss" from Order of The Pheonix in this song, instead of the original theme. At least they put it in when Harry's kids left for Hogwarts.
