Personally I think this may have been one of the greatest games Clemson has ever played. With the all Purple uniforms, the electric crowd, and of course my favorite part, Calvin Johnson with 0 catches.

ore isnt overrated, spiller was a 5 star prospect, davis was a 4 star, tashard was a 3 star, and ore was also a 3 star prospect, how can u say hes overrated, underrated is more like it
ORE must have relaxed because we got such a big lead so fast. I can't blame him for taking the night off and playing half-assed I would have done the same. After the 1st quarter this game was basically a scrimmage. I almost wish it were closer so ORE could have really turned it on and you could have seen him at his best.
AT full power ore had 35 yards on 25 carries. Taylor shreded Clemson's D, kind of. IF Bowden didn't have his qb throw 66 TIMES, this mightve been a different game. The only thing you said that was correct was VT actually winning the game. ANd Davis and Spiller are not overated, Clemson's line sucks ass. And they both get what? 6-10 carries a game? ITs ridiculous. SPiller shouldve gone somewhere else.
Do not question ORE he has only done what it takes to win games. He paces himself he knows the season is a marathon not a sprint. Coach has held him back too so he won't wear out by the championship game. But this game will be one of the few where he tells ORE to go full power because its a big game.
Their O-line has been banged up but now their back. Plus Beamer has been playing it conservative but behind the scenes they've been working on new stuff. They've only revealed about 1/4 of their stuff during the first games, but now they will bring the full playbook against clemson, because coach knows this is a pivot game!
Choice is the best running back in the ACC, Ore isn't an outstanding running back at all. If Ore is as good as you say then why does Vt have one of the worst offenses in the country?

VT's offense is better than GT's because we have an athletic QB that can throw AND run the ball. Clemsons defense is all speed and no muscle we will run ORE right down their throats. This weekend clemson will face a true physical defense for the first time this season... things are gonna get ugly for you, clemson fans LOL!!
Don't even be like that, I am a Jackets fan who doesn't like Clemson one lick because they are one of GT's rivals. However, don't tell us that they did not face a physical defense last saturday. Clemson is notorious for having a giant offense line (hence Barry Richardson and Dustin Fry last year) and Georgia Tech tore that ass up. Don't tell me that Philip Wheeler, Gary Guyton, AT Barnes, Adamm Oliver, Vance Walker, Darryl Richardson, Jamal Lewis, Djay Jones, and Jahi Word-Daniels are soft.
Even though VT's offense is struggling right now, they still have weapons in Tyrod Taylor, Brandon Ore, and Eddie Royal. When Georgia Tech plays them all the men I just listed on GT's defense will need to account for them. Plus VA Tech will be hungry for revenge after Georgia Tech embarrassed them in Blacksburg last year. If GT can control time of possession and wear down VT's monster defense...GT should be okay.
If GT's defense can shut the kitties down, then I shudder to think about the devastation VT's defense will cause to them! Davis and his little sister spiller will be knocked into next season! But come watch the show, tiger fans, because you will finally get to see a true running back in ORE. Plus Tyrod Taylor will run all over clemson.

Davis is the best back in the ACC. He would be better than McFadden if he got the carries. If(when) Spiller learns to break more tackles, he will be God-like. I also love the all purple once a season.
First off McFadden is over rated. Second your boy Choice got 32 carries to 12 for Davis. If Davis got that many carries (even with our horrible o line) He would dwarf Choice statistically. CJ is a stand up guy and the best recruit to come to clemson in a long time. Here's something for your stat sheet omeelio... CJ has more yards going into the 4th game of the year than he did last year...also, we don't need to just run anymore... our QB has the 4th best passing efficiency in the nation with 10 tds and 0 ints.
the only reason Choice had only 12 Tds (which really isn't bad) is because he had Calvin to take a lot of them away from him. If we didn't have Calvin last year i would put his Tds at 15-17 which is where I'm putting him this year.

choice 1473 yards 12 TDs 5.0 YPC, at least 100 rushing yards in the last 7 games so he did his job to help us win. 169 yards and 2 Tds against the 7th ranked rush defense. 105 yards 2 TDs against the nation 2nd best run defense.
i know he had more yards, but his average was less than davis and spiller. again, it took choice 90+ carries to beat davis by only 286 yards. i think this year we will be more balanced with the passing game. you gave me stats.. thanks. but for both of us, ACC running backs pounce any conference. any arkansas fans listening??
Spiller and Davis stockpiled most of their yards against crappy teams(florida atlantic, la tech, temple!!) They also benefited from their veteran O-line, which is now mostly gone. Ore will have more rushing yards this year than spiller-davis combined.

okay, a few things. 1. ore is good, but not great. 2. he is not as big and powerful as davis. 3. he is no where need as fast as spiller. here are a few interesting facts: ore: 1137 yds on 241 carries -- 4.7 yards per carry. davis: 1187 on 203 carries -- 5.8 yards per carry. spiller: 938 on 129 carries -- 7.3 yards per carry. can you imagine their numbers if they were at separate schools? as far as the end of the season, we were one dimensional... but no more. enter korn.
No other teams has a combo like this, only team with possibly better backs is Arkansas...as far as running backs...Clemson/Football fan. Even Sports Illustrated ranked Davis #5 in the Nation in the past, and him and Spiller were ranked as the #1 one-two combo in the nation.

ORE must have relaxed because we got such a big lead so fast. I can't blame him for taking the night off and playing half-assed I would have done the same. After the 1st quarter this game was basically a scrimmage. I almost wish it were closer so ORE could have really turned it on and you could have seen him at his best.

AT full power ore had 35 yards on 25 carries. Taylor shreded Clemson's D, kind of. IF Bowden didn't have his qb throw 66 TIMES, this mightve been a different game. The only thing you said that was correct was VT actually winning the game. ANd Davis and Spiller are not overated, Clemson's line sucks ass. And they both get what? 6-10 carries a game? ITs ridiculous. SPiller shouldve gone somewhere else.

Do not question ORE he has only done what it takes to win games. He paces himself he knows the season is a marathon not a sprint. Coach has held him back too so he won't wear out by the championship game. But this game will be one of the few where he tells ORE to go full power because its a big game.

Their O-line has been banged up but now their back. Plus Beamer has been playing it conservative but behind the scenes they've been working on new stuff. They've only revealed about 1/4 of their stuff during the first games, but now they will bring the full playbook against clemson, because coach knows this is a pivot game!

We don't really need much offense.. just ORE&company grinding it out on the ground and chewing up some clock so our D can get a break; our D can handle the rest. But I think we're going to open things up on offense this weekend and hand it to clemson. Beamer's going to let Tyrod unleash his full potential against a demoralized clemson team. Tune in and enjoy.

Yeah some of their linemen are big.. big and SLOW. GT's D is fast I'll give them that. I wish you guys hadn't played them last week so we could beat them first. But at least we get to beat them in their own stadium nothing is better than seeing 80000 fans stunned at seeing their heros getting their asses handed to them right before their eyes. Dump valley will be a very quiet place after the 1st quarter this weekend.

VT's offense is better than GT's because we have an athletic QB that can throw AND run the ball. Clemsons defense is all speed and no muscle we will run ORE right down their throats. Don't even be like that, I am a Jackets fan who doesn't like Clemson one lick because they are one of GT's rivals. However, don't tell us that they did not face a physical defense last saturday. Clemson is notorious for having a giant offense line (hence Barry Richardson and Dustin Fry last year) and Georgia Tech tore that ass up. Don't tell me that Philip Wheeler, Gary Guyton, AT Barnes, Adamm Oliver, Vance Walker, Darryl Richardson, Jamal Lewis, Djay Jones, and Jahi Word-Daniels are soft.

Even though VT's offense is struggling right now, they still have weapons in Tyrod Taylor, Brandon Ore, and Eddie Royal. When Georgia Tech plays them all the men I just listed on GT's defense will need to account for them. Plus VA Tech will be hungry for revenge after Georgia Tech embarrassed them in Blacksburg last year. If GT can control time of possession and wear down VT's monster defense...GT should be okay.

If Virginia is a "nobody" and they beat Georgia Tech, how does it feel to get Dominated to a team that lost to a "Nobody". By the way, GT would have beat UVA if they didn't muff a punt late in the game... but that is a different story.

davis averaged 5 yards a carry and Choice averaged 4.8 which isn't much of a difference. Had Davis had 20 more carries his average probably would have gone down.
And your "God-like" Spiller averaged 0.2 yards.

I thought Barry Richardson was ALL ACC if not All American. Isn't "Thunder" and "Lightning" the best RB tandem in the nation?? They are the same men that almost combined 400 yards on the ground against GT last year. I was at the game and there were probably about 25-30% Clemson fans.

Davis is the best back in the ACC. He would be better than McFadden if he got the carries. If(when) Spiller learns to break more tackles, he will be God-like. I also love the all purple once a season.

First off McFadden is over rated. Second your boy Choice got 32 carries to 12 for Davis. If Davis got that many carries (even with our horrible o line) He would dwarf Choice statistically. Anyways GT played a good game and won without a real home field advantage. I felt like I was at a Clemson game.

CJ is a stand up guy and the best recruit to come to clemson in a long time. Here's something for your stat sheet omeelio... CJ has more yards going into the 4th game of the year than he did last year...also, we don't need to just run anymore... our QB has the 4th best passing efficiency in the nation with 10 tds and 0 ints.

the only reason Choice had only 12 Tds (which really isn't bad) is because he had Calvin to take a lot of them away from him. If we didn't have Calvin last year i would put his Tds at 15-17 which is where I'm putting him this year.

good enough. i will retract the running your mouth part. although, the ACC preview book i purchased, 'street and smith's official yearbook' has c.j. spiller on the cover. it also has clemson listed #1 in the atlantic, and GT #2 in the costal. i will repeat what i tell everyone, the ONLY reason davis and spiller may not be first team in everyone's book is because they are on the same team. at different colleges, choice and ore would not even be a consideration. show me stats.

choice 1473 yards 12 TDs 5.0 YPC, at least 100 rushing yards in the last 7 games so he did his job to help us win. 169 yards and 2 Tds against the 7th ranked rush defense. 105 yards 2 TDs against the nation 2nd best run defense.

Spiller and Davis stockpiled most of their yards against crappy teams(florida atlantic, la tech, temple!!) They also benefited from their veteran O-line, which is now mostly gone. Ore will have more rushing yards this year than spiller-davis combined.

before you start running your mouth, do a little research. it took tashard 94 more carries to beat james davis by only 286 yards. davis had 17 TD's, choice had 12. tashard is the only back tech has. we have 2 of the best in the country, that have to share duties. did you even watch the video on this page... no choice highlights. by the way, spiller and davis have gotten faster over the spring.... HOLY CRAP!!

okay, a few things. 1. ore is good, but not great. 2. he is not as big and powerful as davis. 3. he is no where need as fast as spiller. here are a few interesting facts: ore: 1137 yds on 241 carries -- 4.7 yards per carry. davis: 1187 on 203 carries -- 5.8 yards per carry. spiller: 938 on 129 carries -- 7.3 yards per carry. can you imagine their numbers if they were at separate schools? as far as the end of the season, we were one dimensional... but no more. enter korn.

No other teams has a combo like this, only team with possibly better backs is Arkansas...as far as running backs...Clemson/Football fan. Even Sports Illustrated ranked Davis #5 in the Nation in the past, and him and Spiller were ranked as the #1 one-two combo in the nation.
