The critique against this wall is hypocritical. On the one hand it is argued that Israel should withdraw from the westbank which entails a separation of Israelis from Palestinians. The critique against this wall is hypocritical. On the one hand it is argued that Israel should withdraw from the westbank which entails a separation of Israelis from Palestinians. On the other hand, a wall on the borders of the westbank, which marks the same separation as is argued for, is criticized for doing just what they want: separating palestinians from Israelis. @adberk88 That specific one came from the Addamir Prisoner Support Center, among other organizations. Data on every single Palestinian detained by Israel are given freely (albeit very reluctantly) by the Israeli government. B'Tselem has a detailed record of a lot of it.

The Jews DID send people out though. You can find elder members of the Palestinian community who have proof that they were evicted from their home. Its because many Palestinians didn't accept the unfair partition.
Prior to 1880 the Jewish population of Palestine was a minority. Just because the Palestinians weren't counted doesn't mean they weren't there. The idea of Zionism caused hundreds of thousands of immigrants.
The partition was based on a focused desire to take land from people.

Getting along with Israel is fine. Israel has to play fair in return however. They need to end the Gaza blockade. Its crushing a community and they are responsible for the daily humiliation they have to go through. Treat people like dogs, don't be surprised when the dog bites back.
The Israelis are supported by the US government and have been since 67. If they had not received that support, I have no doubt in my mind that the state of Israel would have been destroyed in the 80's.

Of course it doesn't keep suicide bombers out. What it also keeps out of the West Bank are much needed supplies. Look at the stranglehold on Gaza. That is blockade imposed. What would cutting off these people achieve? That creates the bombers too.
REAL PEACE is what is needed to stop suicide bombers. That is the kind of critical thinking we need right now. No more Netanyahu harping on about settlements continuing.
