  • They are not able to pronounce the German words correctly.

  • the video speed was altered yes...?

  • @7DeadlySinsVideos there was no video speed alteration.

  • by chance, do you know who the bass trombonist is? This is one of the most difficult excerpts asked in an orchestral audition and the bass trombonist plays it very well in this live performance. Great blend with the bassoon and 'cello as well.

  • @USMC8080 amen, thats why god made the bass trombone...viva el trombon bajo!!

  • BEST VERSION ON YOUTUBE!!!! LOVE IT!

  • it means vollendeT is das große werk , not vollendeR !!! please change!

  • Danke!

  • Excellent up-tempo performance of this brilliant Haydn Masterpiece!!..Bravo Opera Society of Hong Kong!!

  • das ist eine etwas andere versionnn.. aber es klingt soo geil mit den cello einsätzen...

  • @MrTenorstar und die Baßposaune? war es zu stark mit Cello und Fagott? Ich persönlich dachte, daß es eine schöne Ergänzung, vor allem mit dem Chor Sound ist (obwohl die Aussprache des Chores Arbeit benötigt, haha)

  • English translation: And the bass trombone? Was it too strong with cello and bassoon? I personally thought that it was a nice complement, especially with the choir's sound (though the pronunciation of the chorus needs work, haha)

  • The winds are extremely clear and beautifully played. Bravo!

  • Simplemente hermoso...

  • I Actually live on México, and for a performance i sing the whole Die Schöpfung in about 2 hours, It was a GOD creation

  • Great video. The sopranos sound really rich and full, and not screechy like many choirs sound

  • i sang this as a first soprano for charter oak music festival in english a year ago.. it was amazing and incredibly fun to sing. i recommend this piece to any group - it blows the audience away and the piano piece (if without the orchestra) is absolutely intense.

  • As my old choirmaster liked to say, Haydn just sings itself. Wonderfully fun!

  • Bravo Maestro Fu - wonder if he remembers singing at the piece in English with the HK Oratorio Society ... 32 years ago :P

  • Bass trombone = Own :)

  • Well ahead of me there! Outstanding bass trombone playing here. Simply brilliant. Nailed those top G's.

  • I'm doing the english version of this song with the rest of my choir, and i must say that I like the german better.

  • same here... but i only have 3 weeks to learn it so... i'll stick to the english... was the creation written in german... i thought it was written in english like handel's messiah.

  • It has an interesting history. The original libretto was in English, but Haydn used a German translation to score the work. Just like the Oxford and other modern editions, the first publishing had both the German text Haydn used an a metrical English translation. However, the translator of the German didn't speak English very well, and that's why the translation has a lot of awkward moments.

  • Fun, and important, Bass Trombone part here. Asked on a lot of auditions. Great performance by the orchestra and Chorus.

  • cool.
