I have to say that although I'm racking my brains for a proper way to debunk spawktalk's idea, I think in this instance his response would be that although there are probably better ways to go about dealing with the problem, they will not become political reality quickly enough before the damage is done, whereas immigration controls may just be swung by the support of libertarian type people.
This race thing again Pfffffff when will it end :)
Bravo on the video you've addressed 90% of what i was going to say.
These are few thing included.
1) 16 % of the drug "crime" are committed by blacks and yet they make up 50% of the prison population.
2) Whites have a higher income than none whites thus they can afford to get lawyers than none white thus less prison population within whites demographics
3) Russia has the highest prison population after US and yet Russia is 99% whites.
The stats are violent crime. Drug violations are not included. Spawk and I would have used the National Victim Survey in our earlier videos but we couldn't exactly locate the site though we had come across that it largely backed up police arrests for murder, rape and robbery. I posted my video response that I believe deals with some of the other things you stated. Spawk is for legalizing drugs and so I am just to answer your question.
@IndividualAutonomy Please don't act as if there is no correlation between violent crime and drug crime. Drug laws are responsible (as I said in the video) for more than just drug arrests. An entire criminal world grows up around prohibited enterprises that goes into other areas of crime. If you refuse to admit that, clearly, statistics for violent crime can and will be skewed due to the criminal nature of drugs and the resultant violent crime that arises, you do so because it hurts your case.
No, I don't deny that. I agree that if decriminalization happened most crime would at least shrink a little. However, entirely or mostly blaming murder, rape, and robbery on the state or drugs laws to me is ridiculous for the reasons I gave in the VR and the reasons spawk gave as well.
@IndividualAutonomy to minimize the influence of drug laws on overall crime statistics would be a mistake. 93.1% of all murders of blacks are committed by other blacks in an inner city setting. Many of these (though I admit hard to find stats on) are surrounding the greater drug issue. As for backing up the stats with the victims survey, I too can back up the inherent racism in our courts with the sheer number of minorities exonerated in death penalty cases.
I will look forward to your stats and video response (if you decide to make one). The death penalty as well as black on black murders being high is dealt with in one of my links but if you have another source go ahead and will take a look. Black on white murders are just a little higher than black on black in the link. I think whites are 45% of the victims and blacks 43%. Thanks for the video response.
I will provide a link in the description of this video to a paper discussing the work of Jeff Miron, who has studied the correlation between violence and drug prohibition, resulting in his publication of "Drug War Crimes". I would also point to the Colombian violent crime rate (as it is highest per capita) as being resultant of US drug prohibition policy.
Good point and well said... These nerds are just jealous of these jacked blacks with swagger and big dicks hahaha. Nice chapeau btw.
