@zippyf22 but it would have sucked as well, Shinji is useless in the original, he's a coward and he's weak, saving people is not something he was meant to be assosiated with, and it's supposed to be a plot point in how much living in the individualistic world hurts him so much, to know he was powerless to save her, and how much that hurt him, and hence why Lilith offered him the choice of accepting or rejecting Instrumentality, to lose his individualism to stop the pain, or to suffer on.

It took me a while to understand the series. I had to watch it about 3 times through and watch EoE to fully understand it. It has alot of symbolisim, but once I thought about it I sat back in my chair and said "Wow, that kicks so much ass." Oh, great vid btw :)

A really good idea, but you could have done a lot more with it. During part one, I envision more ambient scenes, and something showing Shinji, as if he were the POV of the lyrics. Wait til pt 2 for most of the action. Just my thoughts, though.

Neon Genesis Evangelion was about an organization that used giant cybernetic robots piloted by kids to defeat destructive beings who just so happen to be angels. At first it seems like all the charcters are trying to prevent the Angels from recreating the world, but in the end it turns out the humans used the Angels to recreate it for them.
