This is something missing in the abortion debate. The woman interviewer clearly does not understand or consider this as she says, "I just don't think it happens" when referring to fetuses aborted in the 8th month.
@kodachromefilm No. Ron Paul is pro-brain. He understands the choice isn't this or that because of the consequences. You see Ron Paul thinks. If you think the issue is as simple as A or B, then you're a stupid retard
I believe that first trimester abortions and stem cell research should be completely legal.
I believe that third trimester abortions should be illegal.
I believe that second trimester abortions should be legal, but I don't feel that that's as big an issue as first trimester abortions or stem cell research.
I mean, in the first trimester the "baby" is just a cluster of cells.
I have to disagree with Ron Paul here. I think a fetus is part of a woman's body until birth and it is her choice to with her body as she likes (a very Libertarian point of view). However, I still stand with Ron Paul 100%. We might disagree on some issues, but he is one of the very few Republicans who is trustworthy and completely honest. Ron Paul 2012.
I'm for Ron but I believe an individual has the right to terminate a pregnancy within reasonable amount of time.Still i feel I wouldnt spend time and resources putting a woman through pregnancy or putting her in jail.
I like Ron Paul. But I am pro-abortion. There are a lot of mentally/ handicapped children that are aborted And born. They cost taxpayers a lot of money to educate sometimes lifetime care is necessary. If taxpayers didn't have to pick up the cost for these children. I would change my mind overnight on the abortion issue. What I would like to see churches being taxed to take care of these children.

To answer the ugly bitch...yes, women who have abortions should go to jail. I don't get this American squeamishness about punishing women for any wrong doing, while millions of men end up in prison.
A male teacher screws a female student? "Throw the bum in jail!"
A female teacher screws a male student? "Poor victim, hasn't she suffered enough?!"
"Dead beat dads"get punished, but a woman can kill her child and that''s fine.
So yes, commit a murder and end up in jail. man or woman.

Thoughtful discussion, not political pandering. What a fucking concept. Ron Paul is the most thoughtful politician in Washington. Media can't figure him out because they are not use to thoughtful sincerity.

@vonwolly2 Churches do a lot of donations to these causes. Just taxing them is flat out unfair. Just cause they don't go out and publicly say they donate to these causes doesn't mean they aren't supporting. You claim to like Ron Paul but he wouldn't support that line of thinking maybe you should research him little more.

4. The Federal Government was delegated certain and specific powers and duties under The Constitution (Articles I-IV). All other powers, rights and duties are reserved to the States or the People (10th Amendment).
The Constitution cannot even stand on its own foundation and states' rights is not pro liberty. A state can suppress individual freedom as much as the Feds.
@overmind25 That is accurate but if that is the case you can move to a different state.... We are currently experiencing a suppression of rights in all states equally under the Federal Blanket in terms of personal liberties and debt.... The only other option is an intellectual revolution or moving out the country and that leaves is far worse then making our case for limited Government....

Ron, of whom I am a huge fan raises some interesting points here. I would generaly be in favour of abrtion being legal, however I believe there is no simple answer and in an ideal world I suppose 'casual' abortions should be illegal.
Dr. Paul is my hero.

It's important to define abortion.
I believe that first trimester abortions and stem cell research should be completely legal.
I believe that third trimester abortions should be illegal.

That Stacy Milbouer is so pro-abortion polarized that she can't even think rationally, and got a well-deserved rebuke from Ron Paul.
