I heard that Garters should eat goldfish because they have certain acids in them that lower vitamin levels. I think Guppies or feeder fish are better, but I'm not really sure.

I have baby garters, 3 of them. They are about as long as my pinky. Do you have any tips on good ways to feed them and take care of them?

I have a ten gallon tank that I have previously used for hermit crabs in the past but they are all dead now. I have washed it thoroughly and washed all of thier water dishes, huts and more. I know am moving to a place plentiful of garter snakes and I would like to catch one. Can you give me a couple tips how to catch them? I live by a lake/pond and a valley river. One more thing. I have coconut fiber and I was wondering if I could use that for garter snakes as well. Thanks.

you could buy them from a pet store for for cheap like 20 bucks i think or if you want the morphs like the albino they are higher.. but they eat earthworms and if the garter snake is big if could probably eat a pinkie
