just saw the notebook and have to admit that the movie had its scenes, indeed. i youtubed it, however, because i was shocked by the way black people were portrayed in the movie. they were either servants or wardens or poor beggars. is this some kind of racism people in the us approve of?

hehe :-). you know, I was just a little surprised that even when the old couple were in the old people's home the warden was black and the doctor white and so on. however, that might also just be a coincidence. i know that a lot of things have changed in the us of a since the 1950s. i guess, mr. obama would not have been that successful otherwise.
