@twotailedavenger I've actually ridden in a Dover hydraulic elevator at Edgewater Walk, an apartment complex in Tinley Park, Illinois, that serves 9 floors (LL, 1-8).
@Quentinmovie The one lift in Scotland I have been in, didn't even have 2 doors, just a normal pulling door and then it looks like the walls are moving! Probably from the 1960's.
strange how the bell rang...those type of bells don't ring like that...on a daily basis...what i am trying to say is not the normal ring for that style
I guess these use Innovation Bruiser buttons, which are modified for Kone Elevators, and also uses the old style Montgomery elevator fan. Also, I found some comprehensive information of these elevators/escalators on the Kone website.
That fan is annoying.

hmmm... is this a hydraulic or traction? Probably traction seeing as how the tallest hydraulic I've seen only goes up six floors.

@twotailedavenger those are traction

Hydraulic only go up to 7! You actually have a traction elevator! Try to get your facts right!

It's inspection certificate has hydraulic-passenger, and I was off, it has 9 floors.

Yes.
musicfreakcc 3 years ago
Well, its american division, that is.
musicfreakcc 3 years ago

Too bad they couldn't have used blue up and red down illumination on the direction lights. Freedom and Democracy!
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
The equipment here is generic, I should say. But the small triangular direction indicators still give back some Kone spirit.
bearchoirfan 3 years ago
Also, the indicator and the floor signals were made by Kone.

Music so cool.
Had to say it again.
It is just like Disneyland in CA.

They play a different tune for each floor. They list the songs and groups that performed it on the first floor.

Does 1 have anything special?
Baytrail 4 years ago
No; just the exit to the shuttles. This parking garage is quite, especially since it is the economy lot.
musicfreakcc 4 years ago
What is the economy lot?
alpaljl 4 years ago
WHY the HELL couldn't you go to 1?????!!!!!
Baytrail 4 years ago
I was parked on 2, and made a video.
musicfreakcc 4 years ago
What component is placed in the elevator to make the elevator talk?
Baytrail 4 years ago
It's usually part of the bell.
